| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01  | I just read on some entertainment website that Kevin Smith was saying that Burton stole the ending of POTA from the end of one of his Jay & Silent Bob comics. Apparently it ended with the two waking up in d.c. in front of the Lincoln Memorial, while monkeys were defacing it with a doctor zais bust. There were a couple of articles about it on the view askew site saying that Smith noticed similarities, but did not accuse burton of stealing his ideas. Burton was quoted as saying, "I got it from a negro." ding ding! here's the article, including that piece of shit Burton's smug remarks here's kevin smith's reaction here's the image in question well, now we know where Burton pulled that insanely unfitting ending from. And before anyone says it, I know it's old news, but I just heard about it, and it wasn't posted yet. So suck it.  "Me fail english? That's unpossible!" However according to darkhorizons an original, original ending involved Marky Mark landing at the Rose Bowl seeing a football game played by Apes being watched by an audience of all apes.
