| Hanger-On Registered: Jul. 01  | I bought Max Payne the day it came out and must say it is a pretty amazing game....my friend thinks so also. So I tried making him a copy of the game. The game copies fine from my burner and I went through exploring it on my computer and all the files are there that areo n the original, but when I try to run the game from the cd it says to please insert the correct one. I imagine there is some anti-piracy lock or file on it and I was just wondering If anyone knew how to get rid of it so it plays right. Thanks shut up.....diiick | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | There are many WaReZ available for just such a task - I personally can't reccommend any (sorry), but if you do a search, you'll eventually run into a few good sites. Also, your friend may just want to drop the $30 for the game - its worth it in my opinion. MDLax84 has decided to earn his degree in Goatweed University. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | A lot of these games put errors on the disc on purpose so when you burn them it corrects them and it doesn't work. Try turning off error correction or using a prog like CloneCD.
