| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01  | After the WTC incident, I found it really wierd to start playing Half Life: Counter-Strike again... especially with all the turmoil that has been transpiring in my life the past few weeks. However, I decided to pick up one of my favorite pastimes again. In the first few days after the WTC incident I really wanted to be part of the CT team and thwart the terrorists plans. I felt a kind of soothing relief after I'd head shot a T... almost dreaming that I shot that asshole Bin Laden himself. When I finally decided to be on the Terrorist squad, which I normally enjoy to no end, I found that I actually felt a little wierd playing my role as a T. I actually voiced my opinion, and most of everyone else I was playing with said the same thing! Really wierd... but I also decided to get and give some theraputic relief to fellow players on the server. I joined the T squad and picked the #2 character model. I also changed my name to read this... "I'm Bin Laden: Shoot me Dead!!" Every round I wouldn't buy anything or shoot anyone and encourage the ct's to knife me to death in a big mob. I'll tell you... after a few rounds of doing that, and then another person taking my place... that was somewhat theraputic and brought a little laughter back into my life which has been less than happy lately. Overall, yes this is a very wierd post, and probably proves that I'm completely insane... but I thought it would be something to share with my brothers and sisters at OA.com. On a much lighter note, I'm completely settled back at school and have my computer as well as a cable modem to continue my gaming 'Goofbahgs' responsibilities. I encourage everyone else here to join me in a game anytime they see me online. Once again these are the games that I have... 1. Half Life: Counter-Strike 2. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction 3. Diablo I 4. Baldur's Gate I: Tales Of the Sword Coast 5. Baldur's Gate II 6. Baldur's Gate: Throne of Bhaal 7. Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption 8. Icewind Dale 9. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's Gangbang 500 And there are probably a few I can't think of at the moment... But basically I want to try and get the OA.com Counter-Strike game going again, and with patience and perserverance, we just might get it to work. Also, more good news to share... I just got an optical mouse. These things are fucking gifts from heaven. Everyone do yourself a favor, break your piece of shit ball mouse and spend $25 bucks to get an optical mouse.
