| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I don't know it may take a while. I really don't know for sure. It is hard to create a mod chip for a PS2 because Sony intentionally made it so if you took apart a PS2 it would be extremely hard to put back together. This is bad for these "modders" because of the PS2 shortage. If one approach doesn't work then it is hard to get your hands on enough PS2's to get a working design. I am going to guess after PS2's are commonplace a mod chip will be available. There is no way that the PS2 is 100% unmoddable. Hackers will always find a way.
