O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | Sorry if this has been covered already, but the search function doesn't seem to be working right now. Is there a mod chip out for PS2 that DOESN'T need to be soldered to the board? Or is their a good program for a PC CD-R that will make perfect copies of a PS2 game that don't need a mod chip. At $50.00 a game, I don't think anyone could buy all the games they want to play. To be adopted by me, e-mail me at [email protected] IM only possible at night. Need to e-mail me first. O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | Visit this Website Continuing my search, I found this. It's a plug in (like a gameshark) for PS2 that acts like a mod chip. Unfortunately, it pugs into the parallel port that was REMOVED from the new PS2 consoles. Like the one I've got. So, if you've got one of the first PS2's, this may help you, but I'll keep looking. O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | OK, searching websites has not been helpful. Anybody out there found anything on message boards, IRC, chat, or a website that DOESN'T come up on a search about ANYTHING regarding burning PS2 games? Anyone...anyone...Bueller...Bueller... Another one said: How do you know? The first inmate said: God told me! A voice from another room shouted: I did NOT! Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | There's diffently mod chips out there for PS2, Sodering type, not plug in. I was at a PC show this weekend at William Patterson College, and they were being sold and installed there. Haven't heard of any burnt PS2 games.
