Every time I re-boot the computer, my home page is gone and something else pops in other than my home page address. I go to Internet options, change it to the correct address, and bam, next time I start up the computer it's back. Yes i hit the "apply button", any clues???

Is it a certain type of site? Did you run anti-viral software? Do you visit sites with IE that have a Yes/No pop-up window with a little house icon on it?

You listen to me! While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is I am a nay-sayer and a hatchet man in the fight against violence! I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King! My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method...is love. I love you, Sheriff Truman.

There are certain programs that when you install the demo of it, they make their home page your home page. A tetris clone I have did that, and it stinks. Good luck

AM-I have plenty of things that wont go awya in add/remove. But nothing from this site which is called pass it on.com

JJ- no anti-viral, no on the house thingy, only when I first start IE.

This may be off topic but sometimes when you remove something it won't go away in the list even tho it is gone. Use X-Setup to get rid of it. X-Setup is a great program and is useful to everyone. And what site(s) is it?

Check your start-up folder. Make sure there's nothing in there that shouldn't be in there, especially if it's an *.exe file.

There is a Control Panel extension, TweakUI (which you can download) where one of its many options is "Add/Remove" where you can clean out your Add/Remove Control Panel window. It removes the name from the list, but not actually the program (I'm not sure if that made senseor was relevant)

You might want to try clearing your History and Temporary Internet Folders before re-booting.
