Not really a tech support question but more of a backward compatibilty thing. I need to now if I could go buy a cheaper PS1 controller and have it work on my PS2 or Ps2 multitap. Thanks.

You can use PS1 controllers on the PS2.For the multitap only the Ps2 one will work on the PS2.Im almost positive you can use PS1 controllers with it.
