| Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 01  | With two major games premering in movies this year (that I know of) - Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider, what other games should be made into movies that wouldn't suck? There were rumors going around for a while that Doom was going to be made into a movie, but it never seemed to happen. I would like to see Rainbow 6 made into a movie. I think it would be the best Clancy movie ever, especailly if they got Willem Defoe to play Mr. Clark again. allyourbasearebelongtous  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Well they are making a REsident Evil Movie i believe.That sounds pretty interesting.And i thought i read somewere that a possiable Half Life movie being made.But i think Deus Ex would make a fantastic flick. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | Actually, I thought William Defoe was too small to play John Clark. But, they ARE making Sum of All Fears. Clark was in that story. And the Resident Evil movie is going to SUCK! It has NOTHING to do with the game. Keep an eye out for Final Fantasy this Fall. Go to the website for some AMAZING clips. They're making a movie out of Houses of the Dead. Could be interesting. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Here is all that i know so far: VOICE TALENTS Alec Baldwin as "Grey" Ming-Na Wen as "Aki" Ving Rhames as "Ryan" James Woods- To be Announced Steve Buschemi as "Neil" Donald Sutherland as "Dr. Cid" (obligatory Cid reference i suppose) Peri Gilpin- To be Announced PLOT Squaresoft and Columbia pictures have been EXTREAMLY tight lipped about the plot. They know how much it would be worth if it slipped out. However, this much is known. It will NOT be based on any previous Final Fantasy Storylines from games. However, be on the look out for familiar scenery (one movie clip showed a area similar to Midgar with the foiliage in FF7's Ending). The script has undergone several re-writes, to strengten the plot on Earth. The plot (that which is known at this point) circles around events in the year 2065, after Aliens Come to Planet Earth. The Official Final Fantasy movie site has been tempting fans with a different movie trailer every week. However, if you have missed the clips you can visit this archive site. That is all i know at this Point. Rest assured i will post more info when i get it. What else could you expect from a User named "Sephiroth"? I am the FF Badass after all. | Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | Do the film in Manga if you want to keep the storyline of the game at least..... not mention any games that have been rooooooned by "real life" film making *cough double dragon, Street Fighter. cough* Its your choice but I say if your gonna make a game into a movie at least make the movie have its original storyline look at Fatal Fury, Street Fight II and Samurai Showdown all awesome in Manga. | ||||

Unfortunately, the number of crappy movies based on comic books or video games are far higher than the good conversions.
