| I dont if you guys noticed (or cared), but I think the condition of fighting games in arcades has dramatically decreased over time. Ive been a part of the fighting game circut for a long time. My fav spot is the Mott Street arcade in China town. Two years ago, if you threw a guy during a match, intentional or not, you ran the risk of getting a screwdriver in your belly. Now it seems that cheezy and cheap moves are the norm. Games like MvC2 are fun, but after one plays them for a long time, you start to notice glitches (Magneto's trap, Juggernaught's double damage attacks, Cable's 3 supers in a row, etc.) I went to the arcade last night and my friend (extremely good) played a guy using Juggernaght, Cable, and Dr. Doom. The guy used more cheap moves in a match then Ive ever seen in my life, including my favorite Juggernaught charge up, tagout, tag back in into special glitch that can kill a player in one (1) hit. A year or two ago this guy wouldve been taken out in a body bag. But now, he was the hero of the day. I dunno, any thoughts?

| My big gripe with MVC2 is that it is made for the cheesy gamer. It has less to do with skill and more to do with how many tricks you know about.
If they made a new street fighter alpha with a team up mode and the same sort of graphics from MVC2, then they would have the ultimate 2-d fighting game.
And by the way, the street fighter EX series is an abortion! The graphics are good, but in terms of attitude, gameplay and storyline it blows.

| Christ, anyone been to SportstimeUSA lately
(in Elmsford NY)? That place used to rock..
well, of course I was like, 12 at the time,
but as time went on, the mighty arcade empire
slowly crumbled. They got rid of the Mini-golf
course, then they got rid of the classic arcade
games and pinball machines... what a friggin'
mess. Now all they have is new games, which
should be good, but what if you wanna play
sopme pinball or PolePosition? Gotta go to a
friggin' diner.... damn I'm pissed, but I'm also a
loser...
