| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01  | Anyone want to take a stab at it? So far I've been pretty disapointed with the lineup with the only exception being Onimusha. Hopefully summer, fall, and winter will bring about the full potential of this console. Now about these games... let me start the rant. Dark Cloud. The first really graphically impressive Rpg Ps2 game. However, I thought it was still damn dissapointing... too damn long and the stages are the god damn same thing with different backrounds... Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver II. I don't know, I really thought Blood Omen was a pretty cool game for the earily Ps1 despite the ffin lodaing times.. Now, Soul Reaver. Kicked ffin ass. Yeah, ending sucked, but kinda the confrontation with Kain was the ending... I think the whole gothic storyline and fuckin great speeches from Raziel and Kain really made it a great game and hopefully the sequel shall not dissapoint. Next game on the damn rant. The port of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. Revamped graphics from the original Dreamcast version with some more scenes with Leon and other little extra goodies. It'll be hard to put up the money because I already beat the DC version... but hey, lets see. Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty. Two words. Fuck yeah. Final Fantasy X I grew up with this series and watched it become this ffin powerhouse it is today. My opinion, it'll be even better than Sons of Liberty but those two will be the best of Ps2. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Onimusha-Aabsolutely amazing. Anyone with a PS2 should own this. It's like Resident Evil in Medieval Japan with less puzzles. SSX-Great game but too damn short. I beat it within a few days. Hopefully the SSX: Tricky will be longer. Twisted Metal Black-Everyone says this game is amazing. It is next on my list. Madden 2001-Great game but I would rather wait a few months for the newer version with updated teams and slightly updated graphics. Red Faction-Get it if you don't have a PC. PS2 is great but I would rather have online functionality. NHL 2001-I heard it was horrible. Haven't gotten a chance to play yet. To add to your list of good future games of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, Code Veronica X, MGS2, and FF10 there are a lot of games on the horizon. Count em Tekken 4, Time Crisis 2, Spy Hunter, Run Like Hell, Virtua Fighter 4, Xenosaga, Devil May Cry, Black & White(port but still good), Capcom vs. Snk 2, Crash Bandicoot:Wrath of Cortex, Ferrari 360 Challenge, Gran Turismo 3, Fusion GT, Agent Under Fire, Kessen 2, Blood Omen 2, Max Payne, Medal of Honor, Ninja Gaiden, NOLF(again a port but still good, Project Eden, Resident Evil 4, Silent Hill 2, Spawn, Elite Force(another port), The Lost, Tony Hawk 3, Tribes 2(port), and Wipeout Fusion.
