| Hanger-On Registered: Jul. 01  | Hey O&A fans! I’m doing research for my development company and wanted your input. I’m sure there have been plenty of threads on this topic but I need certain info. Thanks. I want your guy’s opinion on the all time best games of all time. Try thinking back to the older games also. I know many of the recent games will be up there but think long and hard. PC Action: Adventure: Racing: Strategy: Sports: Puzzle Fighting: The Best Game of all time on the PC: Nintendo (includes NES,SNES,N64, please specify) Action: Adventure: Racing: Strategy: Sports: Puzzle Fighting: The Best Game of all time on the Nintendo: Sega (Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast) Action: Adventure: Racing: Strategy: Sports: Puzzle Fighting: The Best Game of all time on the Sega: Sony (PS, PS2) Action: Adventure: Racing: Strategy: Sports: Puzzle Fighting: The Best Game of all time on the Sony: Handhelds (Gameboy, GBA, Game Gear, Nomad, other) Action: Adventure: Racing: Strategy: Sports: Puzzle Fighting: The Best Game of all time on the Handhelds: I’ll let this thread fill up and get other’s opinions and post the results either on the website and/or on this board. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Too many games. You requested too many games. My personal opinion, exclude sport's games, are games that are based on gameplay. That is what I like, not fancy graphics and stupid story. PC: Half~Life with all the mods. Sure it had a story, but it was a smart fluid story, not just you landed on Mars and hell has erupted...... Genesis: King's Bounty. Battles were strategy based, but not too complicated. Different game all the time. Did not have to "complete" the game to finish it. The Genesis version was better than the PC version which had too much of a checkerboard feel. Other: VAX/VMS - Galtrader. A text based game based on Elite (a la C-64/Vic20). Fun, can be team based. Get a space ship, buy - sell - get bigger ship. This genre has disappeared in my mind. There was Privateer, but I don't have a DOS computer, and the game play in X-BTF sucks. Those are my 3 favorite games that I can play (and still do) at any time.  220, 221, whatever it takes. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jul. 01 | Sorry I didn't bring this up. You don't have to answer all the categories. Some like all the categories, some like just the "all time". If you have other consoles I didn't mention, be my guest and add them. PC can include (C-64, Amiga, etc.) | ||||
