| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01  | It's been over a week since we've discussed the O n A Counterstrike game. Since we already had a little sign up process... can I be so daring as to set a date? Right now, I can use my brother's comp as a dedicated server, 1 gig Mhtz, 128 Ram, and with our cable connection. OR, I can still look for a server that is empty for us to jump onto. (I'll look for more tonight as I play) Btw, I got a new mouse and keyboard. Holy shit, you don't realize how much better you play with a clean mouse. I'm still psyched about this game and obviously we have enough people. Bottom line, could everyone be free friday evening around... 10 pm? I'll post later tonight or tomorrow about whether I find a server or that we'll use my bro's comp. Any suggestions, my friends? Or is that good enough? I'd probably put on a map rotation like this... Dust, Italy, Militia, Assualt, Office in a half hour rotating order. So here's who we have... SeeYouNextTuesday, AdolescentMasturbator, Mr. Quotes, Jafa Car Service, DreamWeaver's Horse, Disturbed, IkeaBoy, Me, and 3 of my friends. | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | My friend at fortapache.scurvy.org:27015 is an admin. He can hang out and play and make sure no team killers join. Only problem is the server probably wont be locked. edit: Its also a pretty cool server located in the Bronx. Pretty empty most of the time during the day.  You always wanted people to remember you. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jun. 01 | Hey guys, thanks for the responses... but due to everyone being busy... we can't do this yet. I found a server, and it runs beautifully, but we can't do it tonight. It's being used for a clan fight. My brother's comp as a server works well also. We could use that as well. However, it's my bad for trying to get up and running too quickly. (mainly because I'm going on vacation all next week) Perhaps when most of us all go to school or whatever we can plan a more structured time that's great for all of us. Thanks for your support, but for now the game will be on life-support I guess until we can get most of us ready for action. Ikea- Man, that sucks! I was hoping you'd be able to play with us. Perhaps you'll be able to get everything ready by the next time we plan this. Quotes: Sorry about the '.' in the name. ;-) Grammer be damned! | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | hey just to let you know, your cable server is the best bet. this way you have full control with the rcon. only bad thing is usually a cable server will do fine with no more than 12 ppl. if you have less than that, your server is best, but anymore and cable seems to suffer | ||||
