| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01  | i just heard this on the radio and i'm sorry if anyones already noticed and posted about it but i couldnt find anything...anyway.. since the rock's return vince mcmahon hasn't appeared on tv. the storyline reason is that he was humiliated by the rock and the wwf doesnt really need him to fight the battle with the alliance anymore because the rock and kurt angle are doing it. but i was wondering if there was a real reason? he got injured maybe? or they're planning a big storyline with Vince. anyone know anything? ok and also, the guy that records ppvs for me didn't turn up to training so i still haven't seen summerslam and i wanted to know if there was any websites with video clips of the show online so i can watch some of the jeff hardy/rvd match? because there's nothing on summerslam.com apart from photos. is this because its a ppv, because they always have videos of raw and smackdown. thankyou ---- sarah my website "WELL, IT'S ONE LOUDER, ISN'T IT? | Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | From what I have been reading on Websites and with talking with friends I/we have come to the conclusion that maybe he realizes that the WWF isn't about just him and maybe he feels that he just doesn't need to have an on screen presence. http://www.wrestlepages.com and I think http://www.1wrestling.com reported that he is making himself involved with a lot of the main event story lines and maybe he just doesn't have the time to work on his own story line. It will be interesting to find out what happens but I don't think you will see a lot of the McMahon family in general that much any more. (Notice how Shane wasn't on raw either?) | Hanger-On Registered: Aug. 01 | Apparently Vince is just doing a lot more writing these days. He wrote almost all of the Raw vignettes and promos etc, including the segment when Angle came out on a milk truck. "You ask your momma if Shawn is gay" | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I like it, it's a nice change of pace instead of having the same old Vince do the same old things night after night. I don't think an injury would keep Vince out. Since his main gimmick is more speaking, he would be able to do that no matter what. I also think it has something to do with the WWF trying to focus more on in ring wrestling instead of promos. Too much Vince speaking means less time for wrestling. Plus, the guy deserved a break.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I was thinking the same thing about Vinny Mac being conspicuous by his absence....last time he did so for any legnth of time it was right before the WWFE stock went public, apparently because there was some kind of law about appearing on TV talking about your own product, blah, blah, blah. Hopefully this time it is because he realizes he was too much a part of every show...even though the Mr McMahon/Austin angle made the WWF what it is today, too much Vinny Mac these days gets under my skin quickly. | ||||
