| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Thanks to WWF.com for the following We know that the end of Labor Day weekend can be a little rough. Going back to work. School starting. The unofficial end of summer. So the World Wrestling Federation figured that it'd give you a reason to look forward to Tuesday, Sept. 4. On that night -- in a special one-time-only event -- SmackDown! will air LIVE at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on UPN! With RAW IS WAR live on TNN -- as always -- on Sept. 3, you can watch LIVE Federation programming on back-to-back nights! Be sure to tune in to UPN on Tuesday night, Sept. 4, as SmackDown! will NOT be broadcast at its normal time on Thursday. SmackDown! will return to its regular schedule the following week. Both RAW on Sept. 3 and SmackDown! on Sept. 4 will come to you from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Two live nights of television, and the special "thank you" rally this Monday at noon in Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square, make this an ultimate weekend for Federation fans in Toronto -- not to mention around the world! RAW is sold out at the Air Canada Centre. However, a limited number of good seats are still available for SmackDown! And the "thank you" rally, of course, is free and open to the public. | ||||

Is this due in part to low ratings, or are they just trying to make the push for a fully live Smackdown! in the future? I know I read somewhere that Linda McMahon is not too thrilled about having spoilers on the internet before the show actually airs.  MDLax84 has decided to earn his degree in Goatweed University. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | The Reuters Business Newswire at work today carried a WWF press release that publicized a very important announcement would be made at that "Thank You Toronto" thing on Monday.
