O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01	As Nitro ended, Luger, Buff, Jeff Jarrett & Animal came out to try and make the save for Rick Steiner. DDP escaped into the crowd and Steiner was in the ring crying. They finally made their way out of the arena. Between change overs, the Nitro Girls "tried" to entertain the crowd. DJ Ran played some great music, as always, to pump up the crowd. The first match was a Cruiser Weight tag team match. 3 count vs EZ Money & Scotty O. 3 count pretty well controlled the match. They did all the usual jumps from the ropes and lots of fighting outside the ring. A pretty good match I suppose. The winners and still tag team champions - 3 count. The next match was Norman Smiley vs. Shawn Stasiak. Stasiak entered the ring and tried to give the ref an autographed picture. Norman got his attention so they could start the match. Stasiak tried to give a picture to Norman as well. Norman knocked the photos out of his hand and went for a roll over pin, but was unsuccessful. Norman got in some great hits including an opportunity for the "Big Wiggle", but Stasiak defeated him in the end. After laying an autographed photo on Norman, Stasiak addressed the crowd. Unfortunately, the crowd in my area overpowered what he was saying. So I'm not sure about that. More than likely it was put downs to the crowd. Scott Steiner came out to issue a challenge match against The Cat. The Cat came out to accept the challenge for later in the evening. The Cat told Steiner that he would "have help tonight." Then DDP's music hit and the crowd went wild. DDP and Hugh Morris were in the crowd (right behind us). They were coming down the steps and Rick Steiner came up behind them. They "fought" down the steps to the floor area. Scott Steiner got involved at that point. He and Rick stayed at ringside while DDP & Hugh Morris went back up the steps. Highlight of this little "venture". DDP fell down the steps right beside me! (and no - I didn't trip him!) The next match was Prime Time vs. Shane Helms. The match was FAR too long. All of the same crap as usual. No new moves. All in all, a VERY boring match. The winner was Shane Helms. Kid Romeo came out and started pounding on Helms, then Kidman and Rey Rey came out to assist Helms. Very big pop for Kidman and Rey Rey. Rick Steiner vs. Hugh Morris. Steiner starts by getting out of the ring when Hugh Morris approaches. Crowd chants for Hugh. Steiner finally gets into the ring and puts the ref inbetween them. He then delivers a low blow to Hugh and the match begins. Steiner worked on Morris' leg for most of the match and won the match with the "Steiner Driver". Team Canada then came out to beat on Morris. Konnan came out to assist Morris. The next match was supposed to be a 4 corners match. I believe it was supposed to be Luger-Bagwell & O'Haire-Palumbo. During Nitro, however, it looked like O'Haire landed wrong on his leg and possibly injured/sprained his knee. The match ended up being Luger vs. Palumbo. Nothing really exciting happened during this match. It seemed very unplanned and rushed. Palumbo ended up with the win. Luger was none to happy. Lance Storm vs. Konnan. If I can be serious for a moment, this crap is getting old! The Canadian anthem played as usual with the crowd loudly booing, only this time instead of Konnan's music hitting to interrupt the anthem, Storm got hit (literally) by Konnan from behind. The match was on. It was a very short match. There was a 10 minute time limit. Mike Awesome came out to try and help Storm. Hugh Morris came out and stopped him. Storm ended up with the win anyway. Morris then challenged Storm & Awesome to a match at "Greed" against him and Konnan. Main Event: Scott Steiner vs. The Cat. Steiner starts pounding on The Cat before he can even get into the ring. Steiner got several hits in before The Cat gave him a karate kick and knocked Steiner on his butt. Steiner then gets control again. He goes for the pin, but rolls off and does his usual push ups. While the match was going, Rick Steiner came out to assist his brother. Before he made it to the ring, Booker T was out right behind him. During this time Steiner got the win against The Cat with the "Steiner Recliner". The win was overshadowed by what was going on outside the ring. DDP then comes through the crowd and jumps in the ring. Jeff Jarrett, Luger & Animal come out from the back to beat up on DDP. Scott Steiner delivers a low blow to DDP and then puts him in the "Steiner Recliner". Konnan, Palumbo & Hugh Morris then come out to assist DDP, The Cat & Booker T. DDP & Co. run the others out of the ring and celebrate "their victory". Steiner & Co. celebrate his win on the platform. Biggest pops were DDP, Kidman, Rey Mysterio & The Cat. Biggest Boos were Shawn Stasiak, Team Canada, Steiner & Co. Overall, not too bad of a show. Not a great crowd response.
