O&A Board Veteran Registered: Dec. 00 | I was watching WWF last night and a few things caught my eye that made me think that Vince and his creative team are realllly reaching for ideas and storyline. Hurricane Boy - WTF? A wind blows in when he enters and leaves? That outfit, his shtick, his "gentleman" wrestling tactics. They can't be for real with this. The Dick ECW former owner and announcer (whose name I refuse to remember) - He constant one-sided scripted banter is going from the sublime to the ridiculous. They need to be Lawler back. Spinnarooiny - Do I really need to comment on this? This is what the Booker T is known for? Staring at his hand and break dancing? It's not even a damn wrestling move. Pnderous - just plain ol fn pnderous! September 11, 2001 In our hearts you will live forever! Rest in Peace my brothers and sisters. Rest in Peace!

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | LOL bring Lawler back? He chose to leave the WWF they did not fire him. I say he should be gone forever. He is the one who chose to leave since his wife was fired, she left him also so he is even a bigger loser.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Hurricane is actually a funny gimmick and people are liking it. Paul heyman is best at script writing and talking on the mic in the ring. I say cut the bs and bring back Lawler on the WWF's terms. The spinaroonie is the most electrifying move in sports entertainment. Like it is any worse than the people's elbow. And it it is getting Booker over with the crowd.

They are all stupidlly funny ideas which most of the people/fans loves. Although like you I think they are stupid, but since the people loves it, It make Vinnie Mc a creative genius. Like it or hate it. HA HA HA HA

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | goddamn grumpy, LIGHTEN UP. This isnt the 70's or 80's anymore. That hurricane helms stuff, especially with the wind, is hilarious. I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard at that. Although i like lawler a lot, Heyman is not bad, and the alliance needs a voice in the booth to balance out the bias that JR has. Spinaroony! It doesnt get any better than that when Sucka T stares at his hand the same way he looks at the crowd, looking like he has no clue where he is. LOL. funny stuff. I dont see the problem with all of this stuff grumpy. Its not just wrestling anymore, its entertainment, which means cheap gimmick, tons of comedy, and cool music.

Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | First, Lawler will never be coming back. He left the wwf on his own will. Now, he has signed with Hulk Hogan's new federation that is being run out of australia. Second, the spinarooni is the gayest move in all of wrestling. I think the super hero helms is a very funny storyline. As for moppy and some other storylines, i think the wwf is not in one of it's better writing modes.

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | quote: Well, in a way that's not 100% true, he told Vince that he'd stay if Kat was allowed back, so Vince COULD have brought him back if they thought he was that big a deal in the WWF, but obviously, they didn't. In that little roundabout way, he was also fired as well as quit. Don West is TOTALLY right-on when he called Lawler a loser though. He was so p-whipped and now she's gone, so it was all for nothing. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSER! The saddest thing is he's begging the WWF for his job back. He's even attending the Memphis taping of Smackdown tonight backstage, probably to beg some more. Fat chance. Heyman and Tazz doing too good of a job, and you are way too pathetic nowadays, Jerry. I heard about his little interview with O&A about a month ago (I was in Italy, home of the indecisive military, in case you were wondering why I didn't hear it LIVE)and from all accounts, he was brutal. Oh, and I have nothing to say about Grumpy other than I totally disagree with everything he said, but he's got a right to an opinion. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO!

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | I think the Hurricane stuff is hilarious. His skits with Lance Storm are really funny. His line about Ivory being 99.4%(or something like that) pure was funny. the crowd loves it also. Maybe its the ECW fan in me, but I love when Paul E is on. i only wish he can do more in ring segments on the mic. his interviews are awesome. i'm still hoping for Taz to do some kind of ECW thing with Heyman...maybe with RVD and I think the Book kicks ass for the simple reason that he is just mocking the Rock. the Spinarooni might be dumb, but its no worse than the Peoples Elbow...i actually enjoy watching the Book get psyched up before the move...its fucking funny. so different than the Harlem Heat Booker T....I also think his whole "tell me he just didn't say that" thing is also very funny. Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | I havent seen any of this Hurricane Helms stuff so I cant comment on that, all I can say is that he is a great talent and they are probably just trying to get him over with the casual fans. I dont like Booker T at all, I completely agree with Grumpy on this one because although it may not be any worse than the peoples elbow, at least the peoples elbow is an actual move..the spinarooni isnt a wrestling move at all, with the peoples elbow he at least does damage to his opponent. its a funny taunt ill give him that but its stupid to call that the most electrifying move, why not use his axe kick or somethin. Don't Like It? GET THE FUCK OUT!!

Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | funniest thing was last night i was watching raw with a friend of mine who hadn't seen wrestling in about 2-3 years or so and for 2 hours he was just looking at the screen like what the fuck is going on here. i didnt even bother to try and explain the whole moppy thing with raven and saturn to him. amazing how it's gone from a show focused around wrestling to a show that seems to be focusing more and more on comedy.

Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | I friggin hate those Hurricane bits. They annoy the hell out of me. On Monday night they had a Hurricane bit and a Perry Saturn/moppy bit on back 2 back. It forced me to change the channel for the night. Those two guys annoy me more than anyone else to ever step into the ring. I find neither even remotely funny. Land of the free, Home of the Brave. Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | I agree with Grumpy here for the most part, WWF booking is ridiculous. But there is plenty of good wrestling out there for those who are tired of Vince McMahon's intelligence-insulting bile. And for those who think Booker T sucks, remember his best-of-7 series with Benoit? Totally non-sucking matches which MADE Booker T's career. quote: What?

O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | I would love to have the King back, he was great on commentary. JR and the King were great together. I havent heard anything about him going with Hogan, but who knows. And the Hurricane thing is funny, Shane Helms is a great wrestler, and its a funny gimick, thats the point, something to get him over.

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | quote: Remember when really good wrestlers got over with the wrestling fans by having really good wrestling matches with other wrestlers? If Vince MUST do the Sportz Entertainment crap, the least he could do would be to give all the idiotic gimmicks to crappy wrestlers (since he insists on keeping the crappy wrestlers on the roster anyway), and let the guys who can actually wrestle, wrestle. Right now, Hurricane Helms looks like Red Rooster 2001. Who's ever going to take him seriously again?

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Before I make my comment I just want to note that I am newfound WWF fan. I became a fan right after King of the Ring when the Invasion started so I have no past WWF anything to compared these guys to. On that note, I'll agree that The Hurricane is the most annoying thing I've seen on TV in a long time and as annoying as he gets I can't help but laugh anyway. As far as Booker T, he is the worst. I'm sorry but he was funny at the beginning, especially when him and The Rock first met up and they were setting up the angle for Summerslam but now it's just stupid especially with Shane in the middle of the whole thing. When it comes down to it Paul Heyman does make me laugh every so often but from I've been hearing about Lawler not even close to what it could be. But I do want to note one thing. Besides Hurricane and Moppy what else isn't fun to watch??? I mean the war between Y2J and Stephanie has been hiralous, the Stone Cold/Kurt Angle storylines were great, but now that's gotta go because it's going to get old especially since the WWF gold is back home, The Rock's strudel, and even the Edge and Christian breaking apart has been fun to watch. I guess because I'm not an old-school WWF or wrestling fan in general I don't get this but I'm having alot of fun. ---Blake a.k.a. Ugh I'll admit that the People's Elbow is as lame as the Hogan Leg drop, but its least a finishing move that gets everyone jazzed up. It should be called the spinARROOOOOIINIT. Cuase that is what it does to every match. Awefull I hope this is what you wanted I hope this is what you had in mind cause this is what your getting i hope your choking, i hope you choke on this.
