O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00	ALL SIGNS POINT TO DIRECTV AIRING WWF PPV THIS WEEKEND by Dave Scherer Updated: 9/20/2001 9:31:25 AM The early signs are that the WWF and DirecTV have come to a deal to broadcast, at least, this weekend's Unforgiven PPV. The companies have been in feverish negotiations to put together a new deal where the satellite television provider would air the WWF's monthly PPV broadcasts before this weekend's shows. We don't have all the particulars yet, but are hearing that the deal is done. Ads for this weekend's show began airing on DirecTV's PPV channel earlier today. The WWF's deal with DirecTV originally expired in January of this year. The sides agreed to an extension that ran though last month's SummerSlam. Since that time, neither side has backed off from their stance publicly, which was to be expected. However, all logic pointed to them coming to a deal this weekend since both stands stood to lose in excess of a million dollars a month had the PPVs not aired on DTV. We expect to have an official confirmation of this story later today.

We have the same 2 main events that we had in the last one, except this time Shane is helping out against the Rock. Woo, big friggin difference. The whole WWF vs WCW/ECW is tanking big time. Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01	it might end up sucking, but i still can't say no to paying the 30 bucks to watch it. its one of the very few things on TV i like to watch. i think it has a chance to be okay
