| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | it isn't as bad as you guys keep saying. granted, they don't have the talent of wwf, but the wwf can't use all the talent they have and keep it interesting. wcw is trying to build the younger guys up now, it takes time after all the crappy times they have had...in 6 months i bet they might be back to the way they were... adopted by Joey BigArms, then he graduated me, so i am no longer an adoptee!!! Thanks to Joey for all the help!  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Remember - the reason WCW got good was because WWF guys jumped to it. Lex Luger drew attention on the first Nitro. Then it really took off when Hall and Nash showed up. People watched - why? - cause they really thought the WWF was taking over WCW. Why would they think that? Cause it was 1995/96. The internet wasn't as full of behind-the-scenes info as it is today. So, if you weren't a newsletter subscriber, you didn't know any of this stuff. All you knew was that Diesel and Razor Ramon just showed up in WCW. Then Hogan turned heel and the NWO was formed. Who better to lead the invading WWF than the WWF's biggest face in history? (At the time.) It would be REALLY hard for WCW to get that kind of shock value again - and Bischoff lives on shock value.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | But FTL, only about 10% of the viewers of the monday night shows are also internet followers of wrestling, so part of your thinking is that we are smarter fans...some of us are, but the majority still only sit in front of the tv one or 2 nights a week to watch, and not get on the net to see what is going on behind the scenes. adopted by Joey BigArms, then he graduated me, so i am no longer an adoptee!!!
