This is what they had on their site wwfeparents.com So Goldberg FUCK YOU!!!
================================================

In reaction to the tragic events that occurred on September 11, World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. sent more than 18,000 articles of clothing to the disaster relief center at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

In addition, the company is making a significant contribution to the New York State World Trade Center Relief Fund and is matching, dollar for dollar, employee contributions to this fund. This fund was established by New York Governor George E. Pataki to provide support for the emergency response and the families of the victims including the rescue workers. The benefit of this fund is that it will support the two primary funds set up to help all the victims of the New York tragedy: the Twin Towers Fund and the September 11th Fund.

We are also promoting the Red Cross efforts and have a link on wwf.com to the Red Cross website, and several of our Superstars have made PSA’s for the Red Cross.

With regards to our programming, we want to be extremely sensitive to and respectful of the situation, but at the same time entertain our fans. Our creative efforts always adapt to the times.

Therefore, we have changed the name of "Raw is War" and "War Zone" (the second hour of Raw on Monday nights) to "Raw 1" and "Raw 2" respectively. This will be effective with the Oct. 1 "Raw." We have also changed the name of the December Pay-Per-View from "Armageddon" to "Payback."

On Thursday, Sept. 13, "SmackDown!" was transformed into a tribute to the victims and rescue workers, and many Superstars gave their personal reflections on the attack.

Bill's not as much of an asshole as we thought he was:
quote:

Bill Goldberg has issued the following statement regarding his comments last week about the WWF not sending any of their Superstars to "Ground Zero" in New York.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to clarify and correct a comment I made following my visit Sept. 26th to Ground Zero in New York City.

I questioned the World Wrestling Federation's support for the New York Policemen and Firefighters, based on the fact the New York Policemen and Firefighters who I spoke with had not had any contact and/or support from the WWF.

Well, I spoke too soon; and I am man enough to admit when I am wrong.

Upon further investigation, I am happy to report that, yes, the WWF has supported the New York Policemen and Firefighters, among others, since the tragic Attack on America. Some WWF personnel has visited New York City and other donations have been made, too; that I know for a fact.

It's good to know that the WWF stepped up to the plate big time in New York and, for that, I applaud them.

Nope, sorry Squeegie, the world is still round, the sky is still blue, and Goldberg's still a dickweed. Consistency: it's a good thing. :)
