| Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01  | I went to some websites that said RVD is having problems with his style of wrestling and has been making wrestlers bleed alot which I've seen and that he's fighting with people backstage.They say despite his huge fan base they might have to let him go.Does anyone know if there's any truth to this because if RVD leaves wrestling will not be as good as it has been. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 01 | rvd is getting worse by the show. he can never be the same person he was in ecw. i hope they dont let him go though, he is a good addition to the roster, even if they arent going to let him do any of the stuff that made him who he is. | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | RVD is so much better now, um, RVD. He's no longer a stupid spotfest freak who spends 8 hours setting up a friggin' moonsault spot during the match. His matches make much more sense as he uses "psychology" in the ring (God, I feel like such a geek) after the WWF probably forced him to change his style, which gets great pops but doesn't lead to consistent great matches that keeps the crowd's total interest. In other words, he was Jeff Hardy. Yeah, he's great when you wheel out the tables, ladders and chairs, but for the most part, who gives a shit about his matches? They suck. He sucks. He looks like he sucks something else, but that's another story. I'm talking about Jeff BTW. Ok. Quite frankly, he fucking sucked in ECW and has shown he can wrestle to appease someone outside the mindless garbage wrestling lemmings that stood by the peice of crap that was ECW at the end, which is basically the only fans he impressed. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 01 | his matches make more sense? they are turning him into a main eventer, which means only punches, kicks and finishing moves. how many times can we see him do the 360 leg drop? personally i'd rather see him fight others with the same style, which is why i though rvd vs. y2j was gonna be good(big let down). either way i dont care, i'll watch no matter what. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | if they change his style that wouldnt be that good, i mean half of the wrestling world hasnt even seen RVD's classic ECW matches, they dont know exactly what he can do, if they change his style, he'll never really b exposed to the new fan, i agree lately his matches have sucked but i'll still watch | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | First off, comparing ECW to WWF is like comparing Insane Clown Posse's JCW to... well, good wrestling. They're too different. In ECW the fans were looking for spot-oriented matches. The bigger it was, the more insane it was, the more blood there was, the more they would scream their f'n heads off. The WWF looks for everything... spots help. Good wrestling ability helps. Good mic work.
