Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | -- Kurt Angle was said to be upset with Rob Van Dam last week due to the fact that RVD has been "dead weight" for Angle's suplexes in that he wasn't propelling himself upwards, thereby making it more difficult for Angle to pull the move off looking strong. Angle responded by giving Van Dam two hard suplexes onto his head in an attempt to send a message. RVD is said to be easy to work with behind the scenes but in the ring doesn't do enough to help his opponent. -- Vince McMahon originally suggested that Maven be given the victory over Tazz at last week's Smackdown! tapings but was otherwise convinced by agents that such a move would not go over well with many of the talent backstage. -- Diamond Dallas Page actually is the person who came up with the idea for his new gimmick. He has been pitching it for months and is the same character that Page once suggested would benefit from producers adding a sparkle to his teeth at the end of his vignettes. Page's friends note that this character is just an extension of the real DDP because he has desires to become a motivational speaker once his wrestling career winds down. -- Early wrestler reviews of Page's new character have mainly been negative. [Note from Rajah: Although I haven't been able to see it due to TSN censoring, apparently his promo on RAW was said to have been the best he's done so far.] Source: Pro Wrestling The WWF has opened its official site for WrestleMania 18. If the super stars complain, they may be accused of trying to hold him down. He has fucked up Angle, Y2J, Austin, one of the Hardys and others that have not been reported. I like RVD but come on you gatta stop busting people. Its been too many in such a short time. NATION OF DOMINATION | ||||

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | quote: I would assume so they have to keep up this taz fued for a while, especially after the next couple PPV's maybe get maven in a bigger role. But do not forget many wrestlers like austin, rvd, jericho, mankind etc etc worked many many many years making their bones so to speak. And maven got a contract in a couple of months, they are gonna want him to pay some major dues in order to gain their respect. As far as RVD the guy is in a league of his own. No one and I mean no one in the history of this business can touch him. His natural skills are close to god given. Naturally the WWF left behind the conventional Idea of actually wrestling years back in exchange for acting. Only a handful of talent in the WWF are actually wrestlers. Van Dam will not have the competition nor the willingness of other opponents to put on classic matches not even Jeff Hardy. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | The austin angle fued has run its course, they have been the main event for the last 2 PPV's and now a third. Plus their rivalry goes back almost 5 months now, a change is needed.
