| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | I live in Orlando and went to the second day of tapings.They did a decent job considering they dont have a real fan base and have to perform in a soundstage.The most notable stuff was Hogan coming out to wrestle Curt Henning,Jerry Lawler and his new girlfriend...The Kitten and ring annoncer Dave Penzer announcing Juventud as the "WCW" cruiserweight champion.There was some downfalls like Rena Mero being announced as CEO, her mic work sucks and seeing Greg the Hammer Valentine wrestle Marty Jannetty in a match that would make Xpac vs Moolah look good. | Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01 | I am interested in this new fed. Only because WWF need cometition. Since they bought out WCW and the collapse of ECW, WWF HAS SUCKED. Every business needs competion to thrive and be the best. Let me give youi a general example. Do you ever see just one Car dealership in an area of a city? No, they purposely build next to each other. Competiton is a good thing when it comes to free enterprise. It is the only way you ever have the chance to claim to be the best.  | ||||

This reminds me of a WCW PPV that I watched once with Mr. Wonderful in the ring (The night he got really hurt I believe). I don't know or follow the man's history, but from the look of his arm, it seemed as if he had a serious accident to the muscle, because it looked like a chicken wing. Couple that with his age and therefore slow/poor in-ring skills, he should not have been wrestling - yet he was, becuase the WCW thought it would be a good idea. And after all that, he gets a neck injury to boot. New feds need new talent - its that simple. I know theres lots of good talent in the XWF that the WWF hasn't gotten, but they should stick to using those guys more, and hunting down fresher unknown guys from parts unknown - then you'll really have something fresh and competitive to go head-to-head with Vince McMahon. | Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01 | LOL Yes the Kings newgirlfriend is the Kitten shes blonde wears a leopard outfit,the only difference is that she sits behind him while he is commentating rather then being in the back giving head to the wrestlers. Another mentionable part in the taping yesterday was when Jimmy Snuka and his son both went to the top rope to do a splash from up top well Jimmy fell off the top rope to the floor. Sure, there's Hogan and some other washed-up old guys, but they also have some great young talent there, with the chance to add more in the future if the fed does take off and the WWF starts trimmng its roster. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Of course there will be downfalls in an organization like this, but i am very interested in the XWF. First off, competition is good. 2nd, it will be very interesting to see where some of the WWF guys go right now, Chavo and Kidman for example...guys who arent being used at all in the WWF might ask for their release to take less money, but be able to wrestle all the time. I think if guys like Mike Awesome and Lance Storm go there, it would boost the fed up greatly. Plus, if Jeff Jarrett doesnt sign with WWF, he could always go to XWF and that would draw some fanbase. I like it and hope that it becomes semi-successful and gets an identity of its own (ala ECW), thus then making the WWF better as well. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | This sounds pretty good, but I still don't like the fact that Hogan owns it and is still wrestling. I mean it's easy to tell he will be the first ever "XWF Champion" & that he will be overrated just like the Rock. And why the fuck is Bagwell in there. Hopefully he won't be one of the main eventers. On a bright note, the tag division looks like it'll be awsome. I'm looking forward to it. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01 | Well the feeling there and in the place was reminisant of ECW only with older guys.The fans seemed like ECW type fans and all the old cheers of SLUT,YOUR A CRACK WHORE,and YOU FUCKED UP were used.From asking around the crew it seems like it will be picked up in December or January on the USA network.By the way Buff was greeted with Yu got fired chants then Vampiro said he didnt get fired he got laid off just ask his mother! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | According to 1wrestling.com (aka, 1millionfuckingpopupads.com) Hulk Hogan wrestled at the XWF taping for free against Curt Henning. He was there doing a promo shoot for the new video game he's going to be in (Legends of Wrestling), when he decided he wanted to wrestle and enjoy himself. In my opinion, this is a very good thing that Hogan did. For one, it gives the XWF some publicity and gets people to watch the rest of the show. Plus he did it for nothing, which shows that he isnt an asshole like so many people like to see him as. Fan of the Giants and the Rangers. Hater of the rest of the NFC East and the Devils. | ||||
