I actually liked essa too, I guess he can go to the Lucha Libra with Juvy, Rey Rey and Damien and all those others that are on Telemundo.

Yes it was a little joke, but he was good and he was used in a few Raws with Kurt Angle making fun of him. He was the biggest guy released. So what he can't talk. He could have had some great matches in Light Heavyweight division. They could have teamed him with Tajiri.

I didn't see Essa in the wwf for a long time it seemed hard to put him in gimmicks.

essa had alot of talent but you need to speak english to actually be in the wwf these days.

OVW will have a 'cut' meeting next week. Hopefully, the WWF can redeem itself then and put Dave in the ol' unemployment line.

Essa is already back in Mexico, doing Lucha Libre. On a related note, Rey Mysterio is scheduled to work some lucha dates late next week.

Essa Rios? Who is this Essa you speak of? Ohhhh wait a minute! He was Lita's valet right? I know who he is, he sucked. Seriously though, he had some great abilities and could put on a half decent match but the WWF already has its share of forein guys (Rikishi, Tajiri, Kaientai, Haku etc.) and its already a packed roster, I expect more people to be released. I hope they keep D'Lo. Whatever happened to this guy?

i think it said in the ross report that they'd sent him to lose weight and he had so he's be back soon...

:-( i really liked essa rios, he was one of those guys that made me go "ooooh" a lot during his matches, doing various moves i cant name off the ropes and stuff. will be missed and i'm not being sarcastic :-( i'd been waiting for him to return. ah well.

When I read the title of this thread I expected my nightmare to come true. I thought X Pac had been released. Thank god that is not the case.
