| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | -- Although the feud was seemingly a mere short stint that has been passed over, the plan for Royal Rumble is still to show a main-event of Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam. The feud is expected to be picked back up closer to Royal Rumble as the pay-per view is still over three weeks away. The general feeling is Ric Flair vs. Vince McMahon was added to the card to ensure a decent buyrate as many believe two recent mid-card wrestlers now pushed higher in RVD and Y2J couldn't draw on a major scale pay-per view on their own. -- Triple H has not yet been worked into the equation, but could end up in three different roles. The first and most likely would be a mere participant in the actual Royal Rumble match itself. The second, being the opponent against Y2J in the main-event rather than RVD. Finally, added into RVD-Y2J to make it a triple-threat main-event. Whatever role he will play should be known by his return on January 7th at RAW as that basis of his return promo is said to be an announcement regarding involvment in the Royal Rumble.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I can see the triple threat angle, since (I think) he was fighting with Jericho when when got injured. Personally I would like to see just Y2J and RVD - I'm a little tired of triple threat matches. Since Trips hasn't been around for a while, it might be interesting to keep him "neutral" - does he side with Vince, or with Flair? And I agree, the McMahon/Flair match looks like it was just to add spice to the stew to get more people to tune in. It should be an interesting match, I'm just wondering how long its gonna take Booker T to run in and pull an interference....or maybe Steph running in to halp Flair and attempt to secure Flair hiring her back in his corner? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | I see him as a Rumble participant, just like last year Show and Haku came back. I bet Vince will make this angle into a Triple H wins Rumble and goes onto WM and finally wins the title. Kind of like Austins journey back to the top except without any interference. After all, Triple H hasn't been champ since K.O.T.R. 2000. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | He won't come back during the McMahon/Flair match because it's at the Rumble, HHH returns on Jan. 7th. As for RVD, he has already had the experience in the main event already at No Mercy and I have to say it wasn't that bad, but it was with 2 guys that were feuding with him and it was played out good. This is short notice and I almost forgot about RVD before this whole thing started. I would have waited longer to make RVD have his shot, but hopefully it works out well. | ||||
