| Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 02  | Am I the only one who had a problem with this whole Y2J being the champ? I mean come on this guy was never big talent in WCW and was and still is the biggest whiner in the sport(yeah more than Bret Hart). If you look at the top talent, all these guys are big (at least 6ft and 250lbs.) I know that not all of there gimmicks go over as well as some others, but why in the hell do you push Y2J to the top when all of the top talent is still active? If you look at guys on size alone, some guys need to be going after the HEAVYWEIGHT Championship. SCSA, Rock, HHH, Taker, Kane, Big Show, Angle(I know he's probably the smallest of the bunch), Benoit (when he comes back), Even the APA in singles, Hall(I don't like him as champ), Nash, Hogan, Stiener these guys all fit "the mold" of a heavy weight champ, in my opinion. You're always going to have little guys, and that's why there is a LIGHTWEIGHT title. This is for guys like SPike, Crash, Tajiri, Funaki, Kidman, X-crap, Scotty, Lance Storm, Maven, and anyone else that might sign from WCW. ie. Ray Mysterio Jr., Juvy Guererro and others. Forgive my spelling. Then there's going to be the Middle guys that can go for the I.C. belt. Billy Gunn, Chucky, Albert, Edge, Christian, Val Venis, Mr Perfect, God Father, Golddust, RVD, Regal, J2Y(this is where he truly belongs), The Hardys, Saturn, Raven, etc. My point is that if they actually think that Y2J is HEAVYWEIGHT material, who's next(no pun intended), Spike or Crash come on for god's sake, let the big dogs duke it out for the big bone and let the little dogs stay on the porch and fight for the kibble. | ||||

I think your issue may be more with the storyline. Jericho was much better as one of the good guys, battling it out with Benoit for the I.C. title. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Jericho is a great champ, and for once, the WWF is keeping the world title on 1 guy and making it mean something to have it. Y2J is still the ONLY undisputed champ ever, and when someone else finally beats him, it will make it all the more special. Anyone who thinks Bradshaw could be WWF champ needs to get their head out of their ass quickly before it swallows it whole. I've seen Jericho in more horrible matches than decent ones this year (Y2J vs Kane?! he embarassed himself the 3rd time he went for the Walls of Jericho). I like Jericho as a heel, i think next to Angle he's the best one in the company, and he was great last year and in his days back in WCW, but he really needs to tighten his game if he's going to hold the damn undisputed championship. I know guys like the Rock, and HHH aren't much to look at in the ring either, but damn, Y2J can be alot better than those guys. IMHO anyway. And where the hell IS Benoit? | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 02 | i think that jericho is one of the best wrestlers they have in the WWF and they are finally putting him to work at what he does best(being a heel). cmon who didnt love the good old days when jericho would go over and pose with a fan who had a big sign for him and then rip it up. jericho needs to make fun of more people as well do the dudley boyz. but if u want to see jericho at the top pf his game again keep the belt on him and have him feud against RVD and u will see prob the best feud ever. and a good ending to that could be the return of benoit as a face against jericho or even RVD | ||||

If it went good with no interference Y2J might have won. Jericho is just getting to know what the business is all about. I may be the only one, but I liken him to a younger Ric Flair when Flair was with the original horsemen. He was the champ and never, ever had a clean finish. The same with Jericho, there's interference, he keeps the belt, gets more heat and becomes an even bigger asshole than he did before. I love it. As for the, he was better going after Benoit comment, I think that the best Chris Jericho was the "man of 1001 holds" gimmick he was doing against Dean "stinko" Malenko back in the WCW days. | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 02 | I just think now that Y2J has won the UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONCHIP he will take the WWF more seriously (notice he isn't doing what he used to when he was a face) and will do whatever it takes to keep the fucking belt. Yes, I know he has been wrestling for 10 fucking years so you can drop it. In WCW he never got offered the WCW belt. He never tasted glory, then. Jericho is a great wrestler and now he got offered the shot again (this one is bigger) and he has the Undisputed Championchip. Y2J will do everything in his power (join nWo) to keep that fucking belt. And isn't that what the WWF is all about? Isn't it? You roll into the WWF with no dream at all to get that belt you mind as well leave. And if YOU got that belt I'm sure you would do everything to keep it.
