"An important part of our international expansion strategy is to place our brand in those environments where it clearly adds value to the user experience, whether that be a tourist destination, video game or wireless device." The facility, to be located next to the Rainforest Cafe on Clifton Hill and Falls Avenue, includes an attraction called, "Pile Driver" - where riders shoot up 220-feet in the air the drop back down in a thrilling, edge of your seat adventure. Visitors will find two levels of retail and exhibit space at the base of the "Pile Driver", which will contain Federation exhibits, memorabilia, exclusive merchandise and interactive displays. Multi-media lighting designs and effects will create an atmosphere for fans equivalent to that of stepping into a World Wrestling Federation arena. "WWF Niagara Falls further establishes the Falls Avenue site as Niagara's premier destination," said Dino DiCienzo Jr., Canadian Niagara Hotels. "With 1,500 hotel rooms, leading themed restaurants and attractions, Falls Avenue is already one of North America's leading tourist destinations, now strengthened by the powerful World Wrestling Federation Entertainment brand." "This is a significant investment for Niagara Falls," said Wayne Thomson, Mayor City of Niagara Falls. "Over the past few years, our tourism industry has grown to include many leading brands in entertainment...The arrival of the World Wrestling Federation is the icing on the cake." Some 14-million tourists visit Niagara Falls every year.
