| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01  | -Ross expects that Michael Cole will have a new announcing partner for Smackdown, while he and Jerry Lawler continue to announce RAW. -Other WWF TV programs, aside from RAW and Smackdown, will also be getting new looks, including new formats and announce teams. -Ross says that the rosters will be chopped and changed accordingly using talent trades, and wrestlers being promoted from developmental status. -Ross says that Austin is due to appear on RAW this coming Monday, and he will address his "free-agent" status. -Eddie Guerrero and Rey Misterio Jr. have both verbally agreed to contracts with the WWF. Expectations are that they will sign over the next few days. -Seven new wrestlers will be signed to developmental contracts soon. -There is interest in signing Dawn Marie and federation officials have scheduled a meeting with her soon. -The WWF spoke with Scott Steiner on Thursday and have requested more info on his drop foot problem. | Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 02 | lawler is getting kinda old with the whole "puppies" thing, but you have to respect what he did for wrestling. He is there for the same reason hogan, piper(was), and flair are there. They may not be top performers anymore, but they add history and "credibility"(if you wanna call it that) to it. buttplug? He may have his moments of being annoying, but at least he's not Paul Heyman. That fucking asshole would never shut up and was always yelling. You're INSANE. Heyman was not only a good commentator, but he tried to add some info on the wrestlers, their background, etc., and he tried to make you care about the match. Lawler is an old pervert who spends his time on the air doing one of two things: 1. Drooling over the hot p.o.a. in front of him. 2. Being a fucking parrot. Listen to Jerry sometime. He's become a goddamn parrot. Listen to any promo, in paritcular, given by Vince McMahon. Vince: You're FIRED! Lawler: WHOO HOO!! Did you hear that, JR? He's fired!! Vince: Get on your knees! He uses the same phrases over and over, he tries to make it look like a tragedy but after hearing the same shit over and over it doesn't seem like anything: "I have been in this business for 25 years, and I have never seen anything come close to this!" And "Good God all mighty! He just suplexed him!" "My God! This has been a match for the ages!" At first JR was OK, but now he's fucking annoying. And to make things even worse, they are giving Cole a new partner for SmackDown, it'll probably end up being Steven Richards or Al Snow... | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | lawler is an overrated announcer, but not as overrated as jr. he calsl out wrong moves, gives out hte wrong name as the action is going on, and really has no idea what is going on. neither one of them really call the match going on unless it is the rock, austin or hhh in it...they are too busy talking about those 3. its enough to drive ya nuts...call the match in the ring, thats their job. i can wait til later in the night to hear you babble mindlessly about the main event. give me a break, at least heyman wants to talk about the match in front of him | ||||
