| Triple H is a bitch. Hogan's old. Austin's lost his killer instinct. The Rock's 'gone Hollywood'. The nWo still sucks. None of them can provide the five-star matches that the Whole Fuckin Show, RVD, can. He has the charisma, the skill, and the heat to get the job done, as long as they let him do what he does best. He'd make the world title an important prize, something to strive for... and it'd encourage the others to compete with him on a higher level.

| RVD lost to Eddy Guererro. What a tool! RVD isn't ready yet. He can't even go 2 matches without busting someone open. One day the man will shine. As for now, let him focus on pounding mexicans before he can dream of a wolrd title reign.

| If RVD hadn't kept busting people open he might have had the world title already.

| RVD will be a WWF champ within the next two years, other then Angle nobody ever wins the title that fast, he could move it along allot faster if he could cock block HHH, and move in on Steph.. :-D

| I thought Paul Heyman had pull in WWF. Because RVD deserves the belt and they need to reunite the Impact Players, the Dudleys and let Tazz start destroying people. That is all.

Did you forget about Blue Chipper Rocky Maivia? I don't like RVD as much as all of you guys do, I think they should keep him in the midcards...

| I don't think RVD deserves the title. Yea he's a great wrestler, has alot of great moves and all that. But his mic talent is seriously lacking. No way can he hang out in the middle of the ring and start sh*t with top contenders to build up a main event. Have you seen that 7-11 commercial?!?! Enough said...

| Hmmm, I seem to remember a few WWF champs that never had great mike skills, like say BRUNO SAMMARTINO.
If I remember correctly HHH was shit on the stick for a long time after he won his first strap. It really wasn't after he began the retirement feud with Foley and got put over clean by Foley that HHH started to look like a credible champ. Foley made HHH...and HHH stepped up to the plate after a while. No one has done for Angle, Jericho, RVD, Booker T, Edge what Foley did for HHH.

| I think what the WWF has done with the majority of ECW wrestlers is pretty sad. Look at a guy like Tazz who was a feared monster in ECW, once he entered the WWF they turned him into a pile of smoldering dog feces. They put the guy in a fucking suit at an announce table with Michael Cole, and that was in between jobbing to wrestlers who don't possess half the talent he does.
You move on to someone like RVD. This guy was the best of the best in ECW. Now he's a mid-carder struggling for the intercontinental belt.
Raven is another prime example. This guy was a great wrestler in ECW. Then they bring him into the WWF to do fucking Excess with the fucking Coach.
The Dudleys used to be amazing in ECW. And I will admit that the WWF gave them the tag team titles quite a lot of times. But look at them now. Dvonn is running around dressed like a priest, and Buh Buh is doing eighties dance moves while holding a belt that's held together with masking tape.
I realize that alot of wrestlers were in ECW before making it big in the WWF, but I'm referring to the more recent ECW wrestlers.I just can't help but feel bad for alot of these guys who were once revered for being some of the best atheltes in the business and are now stuck with the scraps that the WWF has been throwing at them.

Yes, but that was over 30 years ago, long before Vince McMahon Jr bought out his daddy and warped professional wrestling into "sports entertainment." Sad to say, today's fan would be more into someone with a quick wit and a catchy tagline who wrestled like shit than a guy who's poetry in the ring but trips over his own tongue.

| RVD won't get the title anytime soon.
If I were to pick the one wrestler who hasn't held it yet, but will by year's end it would be Benoit. He was getting a main event push when he got hurt, will be back by the end of June as a babyface or heel coming off a high profile injury (see HHH), and will go on to feud with whomever has the title by Survivor Series at the latest. I would love to see a Benoit/RVD feud though.

Well WWF is owned by a completely different person than ECW was owned and run by.
As for RVD being a mid-carder, I think RVD has gone through the WWF ranks pretty goddamn fast. He's even main evented PPVs, and even got a fluke win over Austin. The Hardys have wrestled for years in the mid-card and they were happy to get squashed by Austin as their reward.
If I remember correctly, RVD was the TV champ in ECW not the heavyweight champ, so RVD never even made his chase for the main title until like the very end in ECW when it had already lost tv and didn't matter.
RVD will get a chance to break through in time since unlike Jericho and Angle, he has a friend protecting him in management.
As for the Dudleys, dude they got as big as any tag team could get on this side of the earth. I think their WWF careers totally overshadows their ECW careers. After a while, the Dudleys just got stale since the were put on tv 4-6 hours per week while in ECW they were on National tv only 1 hour a week at the most. Besides, all this stuff with the Dudleys split is just building up for their reunion as faces.
Yes Tazz and Raven have become jokes, but Raven already had weak history with the WWF and for whatever reason they expected him to work when his main strngth was always cutting promos. As for Tazz, what can I say but the WWF is big country and Tazz got screwed. But at least he has a comfy job.

Maybe RVD will get the strap after Benoit, but I guarantee you RVD will have a better title reign than Benoit will ever have. This is for no other reason than RVD has management protection (Heyman) and Benoit doesn't. Benoit will probably have a Jericho-like title reign where he never gets to pin any top guys clean.

| I agree that RVD was given an immense push towards the top by the WWF. But then out of nowhere he recieved a push downward. He went from one of the main guys to the IC division. I personally think this was because there were guys backstage bitching. But who knows.
As for the Dudleys yeah granted they got an immense amount of titles, but let's take a serious look at what they're doing now. Personally I'm not entertained by Buh Buh's dancing, nor am I all that excited about Dvonn coming out with a collar and a poor box to the ring. You say that this is all a ploy to eventually have them reunited. I'm not too sure about that. I personally don't think the WWF would go this far to get Dvonn a brand new gimmick to have him drop it all of a sudden, I just don't see that happening. As for Buh Buh they're now attempting to develop him into a major player within the hardcore division.I just plain and simple am not as entertained by these wrestlers now as I was when ECW still existed.
