| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 01  | This is news that probably only I and Sir O will appreciate. TAKA Michinoku, who's contract with the WWF has recently expired, has neglected to sign a new contract with the promotion. Instead, he will concentrate on running his dojo, and (hopefully) will begin wrestling again in his homeland of Japan. I'm glad for TAKA. I'm proud that he's essentially giving Vince the middle finger, but really, it's about 3 years too late....still, I'm glad to see that he's escaped the stagnation of the WWF (a la Kaz Hayashi), and I wish him nothing but success in the future. A shame, because apart from a few matches (Canadian Stampede, HHH on Raw), the WWF fans never got a chance to see what TAKA is capable of. A blessing, because hopefully now he'll go back to being the TAKA who rules the fuckin world. I've heard some good things about his trainees, hopefully with time he can get M-Pro back near the level it was at in the mid-90's. On a side note, it is really amazing how far wrestling has fallen since around 95, not just in America, but in Japan and Mexico as well. I miss those days...
