| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 01  | O & A were talking about this last week. How did HBK seriously injure his back so that he can not fight anymore? ALthough I read somewhere that he may have like 2 more fights in him. O & A said it was with Tyson somehow in the ring. Is that true? The one the only, Vinny Va Voom | ||||

I know he fucked up the back in a casket match with Indertaker when he got backdropped over the top and the base of his back hit the edge of the casket. Actually I think this happened a few months before something else which fucked him up more, but I can't remember what that was because I am awfully high. A ladder match perhaps? I don't remember.

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I think HBK fucked up his back when he was fighting austin at wrestlemania 14, austin whiped him into the turnbuckle as HBK was runing he fliped and his lower back hit the turnbuckle hard. that was also his last match. Master of the Cold.... | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 01 | HBK's back was fucked up from years of abuse in the ring. The last few years in the WWF did a great deal of damage, but it wasn't one particular match (i.e. WM 14) that caused his career ending injury. If any of you are looking to see Shawn back in the ring, I wouldn't get my hopes up. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | The guys whole career was brutal, his matches with Taker, Razor, Diesel, everybody! Not as brutal as Foley's with all-do respect but it went to a new level once 'Attitude' came in... The HITC match and then the Casket Match. He took some bad bumps on Raws and he got his ass-whipped and passed the torch at WM14 in an excellent match with 3:16. I hope he doesn't fuck his back quickly and that he will actually last for a while... Life Isn't | ||||
