| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Steve Austin To Return To WWE With Eric Bischoff Story By: Matthew Boone June 11, 2002 There is a rumor going around claiming Steve Austin walking out on RAW last night could be part of a "shoot style" storyline, something WCW was infamous for doing towards the end of their tenure. Many say the shoot comments made by Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels on RAW, as well as the hyped segments on Byte This! featuring Austin outwardly open with his frustration in the creative direction, and Vince McMahon following up on those the following week. It is a possibility that WWE rushed the storyline of getting ownership away from Ric Flair storyline-wise, so that Steve Austin can return and bring what was, and possibly still is, a real life situation with frustration in the company on-air as a storyline. Rumors claim he will return with Eric Bischoff, and create a new faction trying to gain control of WWE over Vince McMahon. Hey this sounds great to me. Probably bullshit, but just imagine how great that would be Bischoff and Austin ripping on the WWE and Vince's creative direction. I think there is some credibility in this after you heard Vince's comments to Flair last night on how he sucks and he tried to ruin what took 10 years for Vince to build up.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Well, judging from everything I've read, the split is still in effect, despite Ric being written off as owner of Raw. Theoretically, this means Flair, in storylines, is out of a job, unless McMahon hires him to embarrass him by making him his "personal assistant." Hey, wait, that storyline sounds familiar, doesn't it? That said, there is going to be a need for someone else to step in and be the owner of the other brand. Vince owning both doesn't work and makes the reason for a split meaningless. How the fuck they are going to get another owner in there is beyond me, but I guess an invasion of sorts is a possibility which would lend to this conspiracy theory. The comments by Michaels in particular are especially intriguing. You would think after they explained Austin no-showed, there'd be a moratorium on his name, and there pretty much was, until he mentioned it. Now, could he have just gone against the rules (a HBK habit of sorts) or is everything just fine and they're trying to get Shawn over again as a kayfabe breaking asshole like in the DX days by having him mention him? As you can see, there are a few things that puzzle me about last night's Raw. How the hell is Austin v. Brock supposed to be the main event when WWE.com posted Brock was to face Bubba Ray in the KOTR qualifier a few hours before the show? When did Austin leave? How come nobody on the net was able to report he left til the show started? There indeed might be a storyline in here somewhere. Like you said, it probably all is bullshit, but there is reason here to believe in the Oliver Stone theories. The fact is, though, I'd doubt Bischoff would come in to be storyline friends with Austin. Austin likes Bischoff like Kevin Spacey likes women, he's repulsed at his sight. But, maybe the other stuff is true. Who the hell knows. One thing is for sure, Austin might have to turn heel again, cuz some of the "smarts" are getting mighty pissed at him under the impression that this is true, myself included. 1. 940 Strikeouts and outweighing the rest of the players in the NL East combined by Mo Vaughn this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion, and yet still watch them beat the shit out of us every game we play them because WHY THE FUCK DID BURNITZ SWING AT THAT FIRST PITCH AFTER HE GAVE UP A BASES LOADED WALK??????? AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! 3. All 5 Starters pitch good enough to win the Cy Young but get fucked by either their defense, or mostly, their God awful offense this year -- DONE! 4. Mets watch the World Series at home while Dave Engle somehow still has a job 5. Pray Mo Vaughn gets in a car accident over the winter and can't walk again | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | It seems that the rumors of what the WWE mihgt do are a hell of a ot better than what they actually do. I really haven't been interested in either show as of late, and most of the time I go to rajah or here for updates just to know what's going on. Unless they really shake the product up, they won't have my interest - and I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. You can reach me through AIM or email.
