| I thought this was going to be a weekly show. I searched every site for the results of this weeks show, but couldn't find anything....ok...I admit I only checked 1 or 2 of the sites that dont have tons of pop up adds.
However, I am shocked that it was not mentioned in here. It makes me believe that 1 of two things could of happened.
1)Everyone already forgot about this promotion after only 1 week.
2)They already failed to pay the talent and are going broke.
which one is it?

| 4w-wrestling.com, 1wrestling.com, or wrestlingplanet.com are good sites. Lots of pop ups but all are good site for current news and history. TPWW.net and prowrestlingscoops.com are also good but not really fast at updates. Prowrestlingscoops.com also has a great Women Of Wrestling forum for pics.
NWA-TNA seems to still be going strong and I hope it keeps going.
Anybody else got any other good wrestling sites?
None for now. |

| Well according to them they said the buyrate was better than expected, then they list the strongest markets. They wont last long if they dont make it in major markets like NYC,LA and others.

Actually, most of us city folk don't care about wrestling at all (not including me). The strength and backbone of most wrestling stems from everyone else besides LA and NYC. The smaller indy feds are more popular in the south and mid-west.

| he's right you gotta remember that these guys
are doing ppv, not tv, so buyrates are what
count- not major markets. They can totally
blow nuts in ny and la but as long as they have
a decent buy their golden.

| WOW, are you really lazy.
"Uh, I checked a couple websites and didn't see anything about them. Guess they're out of business!"
Right.
The buyrate for the first show was somewhere between 50,000 and 150,000 buys....perhaps more towards 150 than 50, but it was a good showing. I know there will still be those here (WWF marks, mainly) who predict a swift death for the promotion, but the good initial buyrate helped them cover the costs for the shows as well as pay talent. In Demand seems to be pleased as well. Meaning, the promotion will most likely be around for several weeks, if not months.
Even so, I do think they should look into getting a national cable deal. They've worked something out to get a TV slot in the Nashville area, and I don't think it'd be too difficult to make it into the smaller markets specifically in the South, but cable TV would benefit them greatly.
