| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Choices for Smackdown GM from names I have heard or thought of: Stephanie: She is the head writer. She wants to get back on Tv. But why would you do this when your franchise is floundering. You will even piss off more people. Shane McMahon: Would not make sense. Glad he is back on tv but failed in purchasing WCW. Dusty Rhodes: They are signing him, but really who cares. Ric Flair:Works on Raw. Was the owner and failed. Hates Bischoff. Not gonna happen. Shawn Michaels: The power of the Kliq. NWO is over and this would put him with his boy HHH. Mick Foley: would be a good choice. Was entertaining and would be great to see him back. Bret hart: Probably only guy that would be more shocking than Bischoff. WOuld work great with team Canada. Roddy Piper:I think a great choice. WOuld love to see him back in WWE. Can work the crowd. Would be a good choice. Scott Steiner: Can't wrestle now but would they bring him into talk and be the GM. Probably not. This is a good angle that people are talking about today and if they pick Stephanie they screw up everything. Who do you want to see as GM?  | ||||

Since Wilkes-Barre media is advertising her return to SmackDown!, Stephanie McMahon, unless she's doing a 2 minute cameo like Shane did last night. I agree, it's not the smartest choice, but when it comes to getting her airtime, Steph's proven she really doesn't give a shit that her presence isn't exactly welcomed. | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I agree 100% with Peachy. I would love for it to be Foley, but I really believe he's happy doing his kiddy porn, ah, I mean books. It's probably Steph. It would also be nice for it to be HBK. The guy comes back, and is an inactive guy in the nwo for 4 shows before they realize that its dead. Don't know if that would sit well with the others though, giving the kliq that much more power. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Even though Stephanie is an obvious choice and lately WWE makes the wrong choices, but if they put Stephanie back on tv, they should rechange their slogan. Get the "E" out as all the entertainment goes by by. Foley would be great but Ferret is right he is doinghis child porn books. I think it will be HBK because that puts him on Smackdown with HHH and gives Sir O and Se7en a chance to say how much the Kliq is ruining wrestling. I would love it the most if we can't get Foley to be the Hot Rod Roddy Piper. No way in hell is Bret Hart coming back. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | My choices: 1. Roddy Piper. Smackdown needs a major face to run its brand, to balance out the power. I think Piper would be a great guy to have as GM, as he takes no bullshit from anyone, he can work the crowd, and he has a personality. 2. Randy Savage. A name that fans recognize, and would go crazy for, if they saw him. Id like for him to be GM, would make things very intereting. 3. Jake Roberts. Mr. DDT would get the crowd pumped like crazy. I know this aint gonna happen, but imagine if he walked out as the new GM. 4. Mick Foley. Would be obvious choice to be GM of Smackdown, to counter Bischoff. 5. DDP. Surprised no one has mentioned him yet. I really think having him as GM of Smackdown can be a good thing for the company. Question is, is he ready for this responsibility right now? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | I think it will be Stephanie. Why else would Bischoff want to sign HHH to RAW? Because the WWE wants to avoid Stephanie confronting HHH on SmackDown storyline-wise because of what happened last time they were on the same show. So they'll move HHH to RAW, and bring in Steph to SmackDown as the GM... Sadly.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | I think Mick is happy to be off tv for now. Steph is a choice that is available, but I don't know what it would accomplish. Shawn could do it, similiar to his commisioner role. It'll prob be a simple and obvious choice, though. | ||||
