Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | I found this on wrestlewire. Austin as a heal is going to be the best thing WWF ever did. Visit this Website Thanks to Dave Pardue for sending in these RAW notes... Hey, I just returned from Raw is War at the Fleetcenter in Boston, Mass. What a fantastic show, especially live!! The crowd was absolutely electric. I have been to many WWF shows before, both television and house shows, and I have never been in a crowd quite like tonight's. There were many, many fights in the crowd, and the security had a tough time keeping eveyone under control. The WBA (Boxing) Champion John Ruiz was in attendance, and fans swarmed him all night long. After Raw went off the air, Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin continued to beat the Hardy's, Lita, and the referee. Once they had done a significant job with that, they drank beers for quite a while, even Stephanie. During this time, I have NEVER seen so much stuff thrown at the ring, and they were all hit numerous times. At one point, Stephanie was hit with something which resembled a pizza box, and Triple H got hit hard with a water bottle when he was standing on the turbuckle. Staying in true "heel" form, all he did was flip off whoever threw it. Once they eventually made there ways up the ramp, Triple H and Austin got in the faces of many fans, and security had to hold the fans back. There was actually a point where I thought both Austin and Triple H were legitimatley mad, and at this point security kept the fans at a distance. Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | I laughed my ass off at this one also. Thought I'd share this one also for those who dont like to bother with rumor sites. This one is funny.....if it is really true of course. Visit this Website Road Dogg In Indy Fed & RVD, The Cat on Radio Reported by: Nick Evanish on April 08, 2001 The following news comes from Trenton Stutzman... On Saturday, April 7, I attended the Southeast Championship Wrestling live event in Milton, Florida (close to Pensacola) at the Milton County Auditorium. There were approximately 300-500 people in attendance. "Bullet" Bob Armstrong, along with Scott and Brad Armstrong, are the promoters/owners of SCW. "Road Dogg" Jesse James, of WWF fame, is of course a member of the Armstrong family. Road Dogg was advertised as a "WWF Superstar" and was to wrestle at the event. Just a few notes about this event... 1. According to those very close to him (maintenence and ground's keepers of his home), Road Dogg's wife has kicked him out of their home. Both of them are running tight on money and apparently, Road Dogg was spending an outrageous amount of money on partying and other relating activities (hence, his release from the WWF). Road Dogg had his son and nephew at the show with him, along with another woman (it is unknown what his relation to her is). He is now living somewhere in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Road Dogg was selling photos of himself and anyone who wished to be in the picture for $5. He also agreed to a one hour signing of memorabilia for $500 at a later date to a spanish man who said he was going to sell the stuff at his store. 2. The Armstrongs are opening up a sports arena in northwest Florida, which will be used almost exclusively for professional wrestling events, mainly the SCW. The Armstrongs are said to be putting all their time, effort, and money into the arena. Road Dogg pretty much said that he would be pretty heavily involved in this, so this may expel rumors of him returning to WWF anytime soon. 3. And finally, the strangest thing of the night. During the main event, a six-man tag team match took place involving the Armstrong trio (minus Bob) against a group of indy wrestlers. Near the finale of the match, all six men were in the ring, pummeling each other. Road Dogg was in the corner being beaten down by one of the indy wrestlers. Out of no where, an unknown man in an alien mask (similar to those used for Halloween) jumps in the ring. He grabbed the wrestler punching Road Dogg from behind the back by the arms. The action in the ring ceased when this happened. Road Dogg and the other Armstrongs stared very oddly at the man in the alien mask for a moment. Then, Road Dogg punched the guy in the alien mask at full force and all of the wrestlers in the ring started to completely beat the man senseless for about twenty seconds. The security for the event pulled the man out of the ring by his legs and then dragged him outside of the auditorium. Road Dogg clotheslined a wrestler of the other team and pinned him very quickly. Right after the match, an announcer told everyone to hold their seats because they would have "one more match," a trainee battle royal. Of course, all the fans followed the Armstrongs outside. The security had dragged the man in the alien mask outside. Road Dogg immediately fired the referee on the spot, not forgetting to throw out an occassional swear word. Then, they all beat on the man a little more, cussing at him the whole time. By this time, they had ripped off his mask, revealing yet another mask. After this one was pulled off, blood begin pouring onto the sidewalk outside. Road Dogg said something to the time keeper which sounded like "What the f*ck are you doing?" Apparently, the time keeper was somehow friends with the interfering man or otherwise related to him. The time keeper said he didn't tell him to do that and that he couldn't control other people. The bleeding man said something about "He didn't mean to." Just minutes later, the police arrived and all the men involved, including the Armstrongs, were taken upstairs by the police. It is unknown as to what the outcome of this situation was. It was DEFINETELY NOT an angle or storyline. The security immediately ran everyone back into the building and the announcer attempted to throw together a last minute battle royal to distract the fans. At the close of the show, someone announced that the SCW and the Armstrongs appologized for the violence and language, but that was not scheduled to happen. They later said the man had been apprehended. Overall, a very strange occurence. This is not a rumor or speculation on my part. I was there in person and witnessed all of the above events in full. O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I don't know what edition of Raw that guy attended but when people start throwing stuff at the ring it is because they have been ripped off, not because they hate the heel. (see WCW circa 99-00). Every other report I saw from this weeks Raw made me glad I was watching at home and not in the arena. | ||||
