| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01  | Some wrestlers in the back believe Steve Austin is working behind the curtain to prevent mid-card wrestlers from moving in the main event spot light. Wrestlers say Austin only wants to continue wrestling for another year or two and wants to stay on top of the federation until he does retire from the sport. Austin thinks he can make more money working with wrestlers who have already been established as a main eventer as opposed to helping elevate mid-carders. Some people believe he is more likely to loose his top spot to a younger wrestler than to one of the current main eventers. Triple H and Steve Austin are working together to try to push Kurt Angle back to mid-card status. Back before he left for the neck surgery, the rumor was he didn't want to put over Triple H at Summerslam 99, which is why Foley wound up pinning him. Also he vetoed programs with Jarrett and Billy Gunn. Before anyone goes after him and Triple H for their reluctance to job to certain guys, they are just doing what everyone before them has done. How many times did Ric Flair say no to jobbing to Luger or Hogan say no to half the WWF/WCW roster? It's unfair but it's the way things are done. | ||||
