Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Mark Henry would be a let down....does anyone know what happened to the other big guy from Ohio Valley Wrestling that was rumored to ready to be brought to the WWF a few months ago? There was a rumor he was possibly going to be a third brother in a Taker/Kane angle. Any chance of it being him with Jericho? Just a thought.

Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 01 | Why does Mark Henry still have a contract. He can't wrestle for crap, and he offers nothing to the WWF. The only thing that worked for Mark Henry was when he was with the nation and when he was partners with D'lo after the nation split up. And someone like Jericho should get Taijiri because he rules, with the stomp through table and green mist. [sarcasm] I'm Racking Up the posts [/sarcasm]

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | I think it would be really good to bring in Tajiri as the mystery partner, cause people that dont know about him will give him more of a chance if hes paired with jericho..even though they have differnt styles i think they would be able to work well together. Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Ok, if Mark Henry is the mystery partner I am done watching wrestling for a long time. That would suck and makes no sense. I don't think they are dumb enough to try to pull that off. Also JR mentioned that Mark Henry looked good and lost some weight but still needs a lot of ring work in his recent Ross report. As for Taijiri I doubt it. He is not known by most WWF fans and I don't think he is ready for a spot like this. Plus he doesn't speak English and the WWF is not big on guys who don't speak english. Anyone seen Essa Rios lately? I would like the partner to be NOVA but I doubt it for the same reasons as Taijiri. (As in not being know or ready. I know NOVA speaks english) My choice for Jericho's partner would have to be Lance Storm. They trained together and have been partners in the past. Storm is a great wrestler, would fit in great with Jericho and is ready for prime time. Plus that could set up a little dungeon graduates stable with Jericho, Storm and Beniot. Also Jerichos little mini fued is with Edge and Christian, two other Hart dungeon graduates. I know the WWF will not acknowledge the facts about them training together or give the Hart name any create but it does lead to some great ideas. Storm is already under contract with WWFE. It could be the beginning of the rumored "Invasion" angle. I think it would work and be a great twist. Storm has been denying this on his website, but has also said that it would not a be a very good surprise if he was the partner and told people. But the sad fact is that the mystery partner is most likely going to be Beniot. It will be a mystery because he is already in another match and might have already wrestled by the time the turmoil matches starts. It will set up for Jericho and Beniot to win the turmoil match and push them to main event statis by challenging Austin and HHH for the tag belts. It is a good way to push both men up but I think it sucks to hype up a "mystery partner" and then have it be someone who has been linked with Jericho for weeks now. Beniot has wrestled multiple matchs on previous PPV and is the most likely "mystery partner" I hope I am wrong, but even if I am right, seeing more Beniot is not such a bad thing, just kind of a let down from all the hype.

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I don't believe it will actually happen, especially since a tag team tournament isn't big enough for this guy to make his debut...but considering Vinnie Mac has to know he's been pissing off his fans with ho-hum product for some time now, would it not be HUGE if Jericho was in the ring and getting his ass beat by the Dudleys or Edge & Christian....Jericho's music fades....and we hear the first chords to "WALK". Enter, THE WHOLE FUCKIN' SHOW!! OK, I'm back to reality, thank you for letting me indulge in a momentary pipe-dream. Who are we kidding, we'll be lucky if it isn't someone already on the roster...or maybe it'll be Mr. Hughes, or a returning Ken Shamrock (not that he would be terrible), or something else lame. I would shit myself it was RVD, I would be pleasantly surprised if it was Lance Storm...Christ, I would happy if it was Taz, at least he'd be in the fucking ring, but it'll likely be another in a long line of disappointments. Man, does the WWF need some competition. This message was edited by spe5150 on 5-20-01 @ 5:16 PM

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I acftually liked it. It makes sense with the storylines considering Y2J and Benoit have been going at Edge and Christian now. I totally see them beating Austin and HHH for the titles. Actually after last night, I see Austin and HHH beating themselves for the title and Y2J and Benoit being the lucky ones to get it. What I mean by this, Austin hit HHH by accident to cost him his IC title. Guarantee, one of them will hit the other by accident to give Y2J and Benoit the titles and see another feud with Austin and HHH and HHH probably being the good guy.

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | I agree with all that you said, TeenWeek. As for Benoit being a letdown, what did you expect? Lance Storm or whoever else you thought would have made absolutely no sense what so ever because Jericho's regular partner is Benoit. Wouldn't Benoit have been pissed? Then, they would've had Benoit and Jericho break up already, and it is too soon. I thought it was either gonna be Benoit or someone like the Brooklyn Brawler who Jericho could've replaced with Benoit when their tag title shot came up since he could say Brawler was a joke. Seeing as how reportedly Y2J and Benoit are getting ready for a huge push starting with a tag title win over Austin and HHH next Monday in Canada, Y2J's team was the only real possible winner, so it HAD to be Benoit or a joke, otherwise it would've been stupid. Besides, the WWF didn't pump up this surprise, the 'net did, so how can it be a disappointment when the WWF didn't make a big deal about it in the first place? THINK, PEOPLE, THINK! In any case, the next few weeks of WWF TV should be interesting unless Vince stupidly decides to kill the Jericho/Benoit push and keep Kane and Undertaker (aka Peice of Shit and Even Bigger Peice of Shit) in the main event. I hate them more than Xpac cuz at least Xpac aint shoved down our throats. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO!
