Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | that Regal said, "Bloody foreigner" about Tajiri? Also, isn't it very coincedental that in BRET HART'S hometown, Vince McMahon called for the bell when there was no victory? Seems awful bold with the rest of the remaining Harts in attendance. Even creepier was that Benoit did the sharpshooter. I was hoping Ausin would pass out and lose, like the Bret Hart/Austin submission match, but instead, Benoit got screwed like in the Bret Hart/HBK match. And on a side note, why hasn't Lilian Garcia been FIRED?! My Mind is Spent. My Body is Broken. Lead me to my throne. Go Ahead. E-Mail Me

Once I saw the camera pan to vince saying "ring the bell, ring the bell" I was comparing it to shades of the Bret Hart/HBK match. I figured my thinking that was kind of a stretch, so I didn't post a comment on it LOL. Glad to see I wasn't the only one!

O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | Great RAW, I really thought after Vince screwed Benoit that Bret was going to come out and get involved, but so much for a dreamer. Seeing Lance was very cool, I am glad they are starting, this is interesting TV again folks.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I really thought there was a slim chance last night too. They showed the King of the Ring clip with Bret Hart, they mentioned his name when Benoit put Austin in the sharp shooter and than the screwjob ending. I am really liking the Holly's vs Dudleys angle. That was great when Bubba put Molly through SPike on the table.

Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | ECW intros, athletes, moves+ WWF= Ratings. As for the whole Hart situation I was really upset to see Vince start the screw job all over again. And he invites Stu hart the trainer of the canandian athletes who were there and they do another Screw job right in front of him like they did to his son? I find that very insulting to Stu, I was hoping to see Bret Hart come out and beat the crap out Vince and the rock (mostly the rock) But once again my dreams were broken.

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I agree with Tazza-911. I thought it was a real insult to do a re-enactment of the screw job on a show where Stu was at ringside. I don't think it really bothered Stu (because he seemed really out of it when shown on camera) or the other Hart's who were there because they understand the wrestling business. The only reason they were there is to try to get a good relationship with Vince so that Stampede might get a developmental contract with the WWF so it could stay in business. That would be a good move for the WWF seeing as the Hart Dungeon has produced some the greats of wrestling. Last night was just a taste of what the Dungeon has done. All of the graduates that are on the WWF roster were where in action except Edge and Christian. Justin Credible looked better then he has since coming to the WWF. Blackman looked good. It was great to see Lance Storm, just wish we could have seen more. And of course Jericho and Beniot were incredible. They even managed to get Bret on the show with the KOR flashback. I think Vince did a good job of showcasing the Dungeon graduates without actually saying that is what he was doing. I was upset when Vince called for the bell but I think he redeemed himself by allowing Beniot and Jericho to get the last laugh. I too was expecting a run in but not by Bret. I just knew better. Besides Martha Hart (you know Owen's widow) went public with her outrage and hurt feelings about the Hart's making an appearance on RAW and stated that she spoke with Bret days before and that there was no way Bret would have shown up. First I was thinking Edge and Christian since they weren't on the show yet. Then I was more thinking of maybe Shamrock would make his return and get pushed up to a top heel right away to fill HHH's spot until he returns. They I realized what the hell I was thinking and came back to my senses. Then I was hoping for Bad New Brown to walk down the Aisle and give Jericho the Ghetto Blaster while he had Austin in the Walls of Jericho and then chase Beniot off. That would have been really kewl, but I like how Vince ended the show. All in all it was a really good RAW. I marked out big time for Lance Storm's appearance.

Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | Well, hell, speaking of irony... well, more like stupidity... did anyone else notice that when Austin left the ring last night, he was proudly showing off his WWF Champ...er... Tag Team title? He left the Championship belt in the ring with Benoit, and took the Tag belt, instead? How odd was that? Especially since Vince was standing right next to him! --- SigPic powered by Sephiroth... --- Student at Jon Benet Norton's Kid Toucher University --- Send my dumb ass some E-mail

Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | Im glad somebody else noticed that. Wrestling sure is taking some interesting turns.......but I'll just sit quietly and wait for Tajiri to Poison Mist Regal. Hopefully that will be soon. "Gimmy the bat, faggit" "I AM ZEROMUS. I AM THE HATRED!"
