| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | FB unfortunately I think you're right about summerslam. but how much better would the ppv be if it was austin vs. angle and then the rock going against booker t? already seen angle vs booker t twice already and while they've been good matches, would much rather see him go up against austin. and besides, i think i'd rather watch billy gunn vs xpac rather than the rock against austin one more time. | ||||

Angle is so over at as a face that I dont see anything wrong with Him and Austin MEing at summerslam. But the WWF NEEDS the Rock back headlineing events, just look at the rateings since he's been gone.

| Hanger-On Registered: Sep. 00 | Agree that I can't see The Rock going to the ECWCW. Summerslam will be Angle vs Booker T, and probably, and unfortunately, The Rock vs Austin for the WWF title. Remember how things were left with Austin and The Rock before he took movie time off. I just don't see how they could get Austin and The Rock on the same side, especially right off the bat. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Has anyone thought the Rock might be a free agent and not go either WWF or EWCW until Summerslam. This way, they could have WWF champion from WECW in Austin, the WCW champion from the WWF in Kurt Angle and finally the hottest free agent in wrestling, in the Rock just as the People's Champ. So you will have a 3 way with the Rock vs Austin vs Angle with say stipulations saying that if Angle pins Austin he becomes both WWF and WCW champion. If Austins wins he becomes both WCW and WWF champion and if Rock wins, whomever he pins becomes champion of that fed. Angle is super hot right now and there is no way he cannot be involved at the Summerslam Main event. If they have Angle lost to Rock in the next week or 2, that kills everything that Angle has built up. | ||||

(Might start w/ Vince, maybe Shane & Steph) Rock: The Rock has made his choice. The Rock's choice is to not choose you. Take your Alliance/WWF, shine it up real nice, bah blah blah. McMahon that was called out stands underneath TitanTron and and is sad. Rock calls out other Mcmahon, Other Mcmahon enters scene under the Titantron, gloating while walking past first McMahon. Walks halfway to ring when stopped by Rock. Rock: Yes. The Rock has thought long and hard. The Rock has made his choice. The Rock has chosen.....The Rock!!! What makes you candyasses think the Rock would want to get in the middle of a squabble between (clever McMahon insults for each) The Rock doesn't need the alliance (insults Austin, Heyman, WCW, etc...)The Rock don't need Vince and any Gold Medals. The Rock stands alone. And The Rock will go to SummerSlam and beat Austin! The Rock will beat Angle! The Rock will walk out of SS Triple Threat main event as Undisputed Champ! (Main event possibly set up by Foley, also with Linda's help) The whole scene will be reminiscent of when a young (ok, younger) (ok, late 30's) Randy Savage blew off every manager in the WWF after a long courtship, to pick Elizabeth. | ||||

And if he does, somehow i think it will be rock vs booker t in a #1 contenders match, and austin vs Angle in a title unification match. Dont forget that Summerslam is supposed to be 1 of the big 4 ppv's. So a title unification match would be perfect. I just dont want the rock to be involved yet. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | In my opinion, this is a great move having a WWF guy with the WCW title and a WCW guy with the WWF title. Now, WCW guys can try to win the WCW title, and vice versa for the WWF guys. Then, at Summerslam, or even beyond, let their be a unification match.
