| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70  | 46 years ago today on september 30, 1955 james dean was killed in a car crash while on his way to a racing meet. He was gonna race his new porsche spyder in a race in salinas, CA. Instead of towing the car he wanted to put some miles on it and drove it. On the way he was with his mechanic and a ford was approaching him and was making a turn and did not signal. Dean tried to speed up as a natural racers reflex and go around him cause he had no chance to stop. His mecahnic was thrown from the car and suffered a broken arm, the driver of the ford suffered cuts. james dean broke his neck and died instantly and he is a man who has had a major impact in my life and i dedicate this song in his memory.
