Psychopath Registered: Mar. 02	For anyone who is interested, 7Dust will be on the Carson Daly late night show tonight. I think it's on after Conan on CH4. I was at the taping Fri. and they sounded really good. They played Live Again and Angels Son. Also, they are playing at the Vanderbilt on Long Island tonight.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01	that carson show sucks ass. he's a stupid hypocrite. Last night he was talking to seth green and he said something like "I always see you at these teen award shows like Nickolodeon awards, teen choice award, and the mtv awards. and you always have the same face on that I do: like 'why are we here?'" that got me so fucking pissed. your there because your getting paid to do so. and your still going on these stupid shows. he tries to act like hes above mtv now after he worked there for a few years. he knows mtv sucks, and him and his shows are part of the reason, and know he has a talk show with forced, uncomfortable jokes and thinks hes the coolest fucking thing in the world......ok.....im done now. Psychopath Registered: Mar. 02	I agree. The only reason I went was to see 7Dust. Carson used to be cool(I feel like i'm 14 writing this), but he's completely lost any credebility he had. I hate people who act like the people they are curently with. If you're a rocker act like a rocker, even when your interviewing P. Ditty. The only cool thing about the taping was that since his ratings suck and nobodys coming to the shows, the crowd was made up of 7Dust fans. I was expecting a bunch of 16 year olds screaming his name.

That pursuit is what took America from the revolution to the computer age in 200 years. But the progress has come at a price. It is the prison of self-imposed momentum, and the sad part is that we get used to it. It reminds me of a song I heard the other day. It's called "The Going Nowhere Fast." But the people I have met here have shown me another side of Nowhere. They've pointed out the beautiful irony that stagnation makes it easy to stop and smell the roses, if we just let it. What would we be if we had nothing to rebel against? Well we could finally be ourselves, the first group of people who stopped looking for the answers long enough to appreciate the questions. And all we have to do is to make our own Declaration of Independence. We can embrace the right to life and liberty by simply realizing that happiness exists -- not to pursue, but to accept. After that the only challenge would be to make sure with the rest of our lives that we weren't just another fad. I don't know, it's an idea. What do you think?
