| Psychopath Registered: May. 01  | I've been listening to this song a lot lately and it really disturbs me. I think it says a lot about kids today, or maybe I'm just getting old and sentimental. I don't remember shit like this going on when I was younger. Last day of the rest of my life. I wish I would have known, 'cause I didn't kiss my Mama goodbye. I didn't tell her that I loved her, how much I care. Or thank my Pop's for all the talks and all the wisdom he shared. Unaware, I just did what I always do. Everyday the same routine before I skate off to school. But who knew that this day wasn't like the rest. Instead of taking a test, I took two to the chest. Call me blind, but I didn't see it coming. Everybody was running, but couldn't hear nothing except gun blasts. It happened so fast, I didn't really know this kid, though I sit by him in class. Maybe this kid was reaching out for love, or maybe for moment he forgot who he was. Or maybe this kid just wanted to be hugged, whatever it was I know its because... Little Suzy, she was only twelve. She was given the world with every chance to excel. Hang with the boys and all hear stories they tell. She might act kind of proud, but no respect for herself. She finds love in all the wrong places, the same situations, just different faces. Changed up her pace since her daddy left her. Too bad he never told her she deserved much better. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 02 | Im only 24, and I think the only reason kids today are miserable is because they are constantly being told that they're misserable. What is so bad about a kids life nowadays, I went through my parents divorce back when it was a small percentage of couples splitting. And Im not complaining. Today most kids have computers, video games, cd, mp3 and dvd players, vcrs and all sorts of other shit. How can you be bored and depressed. Parents go out of their way to make their kids happy, and its never enough. I say stop whining and go out and be a kid. Play sports, listen to music, watch movies have fun. | ||||
