 | even ikea didn't feel this was important enough to mention.
Of course Ikea has no life so he feels a need to comment.
Seinfeld is not the number one show of all time. News programs are in a class by themselves, they have to be. Honeymooners is better than I Love Lucy, period there's no way around it. Sopranos is not worthy being in the top 5. it had a good first season but the other two seasons have been lackluster at best, Oz is a better show.
and ABC is running a special on this tonight at 10.
It's nice seeing some shows getting props like Buffy but plenty of shows are left out. MST3K? Homicide: Life on the Streets? NewsRadio? The Prisoner- a show that pretty much defines cool? And the word in television comedy- Monty Python's Flying Circus.

 | Its good to see the Simpsons in there. Has The Sopranos been around long enough to be considered?

 | Yeah what Ikea said...but what about Perry Mason?? Dragnet?? Little House on the Prairie??(Always thought that Mary Ingalls was a hottie) Seinfeld soooo does not belong in the #1 slot. Can't believe Homicide was left out...and my favorite Emergency! Somebody call Dr Brackett at Rampart!!!!
A heavy dose of reality, with a shot of piss and vinegar
I love the kindredbabe, the MamaCaz, the SyKoPaThCHiK, and especially the RF and my little walking Disaster Area!!!! |

This is what is wrong with most lists - they are so arbitrary. (which is also why we see so many - people take these lists so seriously).
A real list should have been more defined - most influential, for example, since some of the shows on the list are there for what they spawned, some for critical review, some popular review.
I watched some of the TV show (these type of shows are my guilty pleasure) and it was horrible, mostly because they shoved so much into one hour that nothing was accomplished. VH1 seems to have some idea how to do these shows, dragging them out over several hours so that you can at least give a little time to them.

2002 Crack Committee Objectives: (You gotta believe....)
1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year
2. Hate the Braves with PASSION
3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year
4. Mets win World Series |

 | The Simpons should be in the top 5 and not the Sopranos just based on longevity.

2002 Crack Committee Objectives: 1. 94 Wins and NL East Title by the Mets this year 2. Hate the Braves with a passion 3. All 5 Starters have winning records this year 4. Mets win World Series5. Roger Clemens finally steps into the batters box at Shea. |
