Oh and is anyone else having trouble with Napster. The downloads are slow as hell for me. Please tell me if it is only me who is fucked up or is the whole DL shit effecting all? | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Dec. 00 | A really good replacement for napster is winmx (www.winmx.com). Works pretty much the same as napster (looks like it too). But the benefit of winmx is that it connects you directly to the users of napster, mynapster, powernap, opennap and napmania. So let's weigh the differences: WinMX: connects to 5 servers at once, plus you can add more Napster: connects to 1 server (itself) I like 5 better than 1 5 more gooder than 1. I'll stick with WinMX thank you. Screw Napster now.   My adopted newbies are OPM * Chick and BigBangster. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | WinMX is better than Napster but I prefer Rapigator. It is basically the same exact thing. But I like the Rapigator interface better, thats just my opinion. Decentralized clients like Limewire and Bearshare are good but they are still being worked out because they have much overhead. I say use those a last resort. One thing though, since WinMX doesn't have an internal palyer like Napster does, can I still put together playlists??? And another thing, when I DL files from Napster, they all used to go into the Library, where do they go when I DL them from WinMX??? | ||||
