O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 ![]() | Don't Fear The Reaper All our times have come Here but now they're gone Seasons don't fear the reaper Nor do the wind, the sun or the rain We can be like they are Come on baby, don't fear the reaper Baby take my hand, don't fear the reaper We'll be able to fly, don't fear the reaper Baby I'm your man. Valentine is done Here but now they're gone Romeo and Juliet Are together in eternity...Romeo and Juliet 40,000 men and women everyday...Like Romeo and Juliet 40,000 men and women everyday...Re-define happiness Another 40,000 coming everyday...We can be like they are Come on baby, don't fear the reaper Baby take my hand, don't fear the reaper We'll be able to fly, don't fear the reaper Baby I'm your man. Love of two is one Here but now they're gone Came the last night of sadness And it was clear she couldn't go on Then the door was open and the wind appeared The candles blew then disappeared The curtains flew then he appeared...saying don't be afraid Come on baby...and she had no fear And she ran to him...then they started to fly They looked backward and said goodbye...she had become like they are She had taken his hand...she had become like they are Come on baby, don't fear the reaper. ![]() ![]() "What are you speaking? O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 ![]() | I agree Moosen... BOC rock... Here's my addition... You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars I've been living on the edge so long, where the winds of limbo roar And I'm young enough to look at, and far too old to see All the scars are on the inside I'm not sure that there's anything left of me Don't let these shakes go on, it's time we had a break from it It's time we had some leave We've been living in the flames We've been eating up our brains Oh please, don't let these shakes go on. You ask me why I'm weary, why I can't speak to you You blame me for my silence, say it's time I changed and grew But the war's still going on, dear, and there's nowhen that I know And I can't stand forever I can't say if we're ever gonna be free Don't let these shakes go on, it's time we had a break from it It's time we had some leave We've been living in the flames We've been eating up our brains Oh please, don't let these shakes go on. You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars My energy is spent at last, and my armor is destroyed I have used up all my weapons, and I'm helpless and bereaved Wounds are all I'm made of Did I hear you say that this is victory? Don't let these shakes go on, it's time we had a break from it Send me to the rear Where the tides of madness swell And men sliding into hell Oh please, don't let these shakes go on. ![]() Professional Slacker To look at all of my photo albums click my sig pic or just Visit this Website or you can E-Mail Me Currently overseeing the lurking of Sluggo667

Psychopath Registered: Jul. 00 ![]() | From BÖC's first album. I love this song, you should to. {jedi mind trick} What else is better than a song about a drug deal gone bad. ---*---Then Came the Last Days of May---*--- Parched land no desert sand, sun was just a dot And a little bit of water goes a long way, 'cause it's hot Three good buddies were laughing and smoking in the back Of a rented Ford They couldn't know they weren't going far Each one with the money in his pocket Could go out and buy himself a brand new car But they all held the money they had Money they hoped would take them very far The sky was bright, a traffic light, now and then a truck And they hadn't seen a cop around all day (what luck) They brought everything they needed bags and scales to weigh the stuff The driver said the border's just over the bluff It wasn't until the car suddenly stopped In the middle of a cold and barren place And the other guy turned and spilled Three boys' blood, did they know a trap had been laid They're OK the last days of May, I'll be breathing dry air I'm leaving soon, the others are already there You wouldn't be interested in coming along, instead of staying here They say the West is nice this time of year (that's what they say) ![]() Thomas "Our love is rice and beans and horses lard" Black Francis This message was edited by Oyster on 4-22-01 @ 7:13 AM

The most recent album (the one with the remake of Astronomy) was a fave as well(the damn thing was lost in one of my moves) ![]() "Don't you know? Psychopath Registered: Jul. 00 ![]() | How you should buy BÖC 1972 – Blue Oyster Cult (If you're lucky you can find the first 3 albums on in a special 3 CD pack. great value) 1973 – Tyranny And Mutation 1974 – Secret Treaties 1981 – First Of Unknown Origin (this album should have been the soundtrack to the movie Heavy Metal not just "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" 1976 – Agents Of Fortune 1980 - Cultosaurus Erectus Their other studio albums have to many filler songs. I still love them and sing along with them just the same. Live Albums 1975 – On Your Feet Or On Your Knees over 1978 – Some Enchanted Evening any time (Dominance And Submission is from Secret Treaties) Thomas "It's the nexus of the crisis The origin of storms"

O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 ![]() | B.O.C. was the first band I ever saw live. I think it was 1980 or 81. Blue Oyster Cult and Aldo Nova at the old convention hall in Asbury Park. I think they recorded part of the show for a live album. I can remember Robbie Krieger (from the Doors) playing with them on "Roadhouse Blues"...I also saw BOC play at L'Amour in Bklyn as Soft White Underbelly. It was quite a few years later, but they rocked nonetheless...![]() Professional Slacker To look at all of my photo albums click my sig pic or just Visit this Website or you can E-Mail Me Currently overseeing the lurking of Sluggo667
