| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | Been playing guitar for 12 years, but I began playing bass for a band last year. I play a Fender Jazz, but one of the cheaper Mexican models. The band is called Household Saints, and we have a song up on Farmclub.com. It's rock, but kind of on the lighter side. I know a lot of people here like the heavier stuff (myself included), but it's still pretty good. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01 | I have been playing the saxophone(s) for about 18 years. In the current cover/original band that i play in, I also play percussion, congas, bass, rhythm gtr (acoustic), and drums. I'd mention the name of the band and the website, but there are some here who prohibit me from doing that anymore. As far as the cover material this band does, we do: classsic to current funk, reggae, ska, modern-rock, and rage-rock. We cover ALL avenues. Our original stuff has been best described to us as "progressive-funk". Like if Pink Floyd or Yes teamed up with Parliment or James Brown. | ||||

I play an elec/acous Ovation legend, an Alahambra classical and I am shopping around for a new electric but did have an Ibanez GRX. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I learned how to play drums at my friend's house!. Ironically, his dad was a head master of a prep school for deaf children. But I learned how Dammit! But then I went to college and did not touch them in the last 15 years. Shame too, we used to practice to the drum solos by Rush... "Hey, don't laugh at me too hard! I might coach your child!!!" | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I wish I would have taken up the bass when I was younger, at this point I don't think I have the patience to learn and keep up with it... I definitely sing, though-- how well I do that depends on how well you like me LOL. I like to sing back-up and harmonize the most, that's when I have the most fun... Otherwise, my calling is to write--press releases, bios, reviews (songs too!) The band I was working with is now broken up, so I'm looking to get off my lazy ass and do some side work again if any of you need any writing help :) with your bands  no-one ever tends to me. Sitting alone covered in breeze. Some things are so my mind can breathe. The waiting is hard, fuckin' takes so long. Draped in sun, hands in sand. Earth acid cleanses me. I have a black and white Squier Stratocaster, the kind I always see Eric Clapton play. I can play just about anything in drop-D tuning because it sounds great and is easy as hell.
