O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jan. 01 | OK, when I went to the CD store at lunch to buy the new Tool album, I saw a lot of new shit that I have to get. What I need is some reviews from you guys as to what is actually worth getting though. I DO NOT WANT OPINIONS ABOUT THE BAND. I don't care if you think they suck or not, if you haven't heard the albums mentioned, don't reply. I think most of these came out yesterday though. OK, here goes. R.E.M. - Reveal Marillion - Anoraknophobia Weezer - The Green Album Depeche Mode - Exciter King Crimson - Beat (This is a remastered album) King Crimson - Discipline (This is also remastered) David Byrne - Look Into The Eyeball Ani Difranco - Revelling/Reckoning KRS-One - Sneak Attack

O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I'm not really into the albums you mentioned, except Ani, which I have not heard Another kick-ass new release is Black Label Society--Alcohol-Fueled Brewtality Live...double-disk with Zakk Wylde's virtuoso guitar, he's amazing

O&A Board Veteran Registered: Aug. 00 | If you have enjoyed Depeche Modes' previous work, you will enjoy the new album. Ani Difranco is also usually a safe bet if you dig her sound... Why fucking bother "Think before you write" - Froy E-Mail Me

Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | I don't have much to say but the R.E.M. album got 4 out of 5 stars in Rolling Stone. "I am a sophisticated sex robot sent back in time to change the future for one lucky lady."-The Shermanator

Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Weezer- I liked the 1st album and loved Pinkerton. This could be another sleeper hit. I'm going to get it today Depeche Mode - they do nothing for me anymore. King Crimson - Buy it. They always serve up some different sounding stuff. Also, they are touring w/ Tool later this summer. David Byrne - Always interesting. A good example an 80's artist who can still put out good tunes. Ani Difranco - not into her KRS-One - For crying out loud, he's the BLASTMASTER after all!!! Buy it!! Hope this helped a bit. O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | well i can't comment on any of these albums excpet for the new Ani,its alittle slow and mellow but over all both cd's are good. there are no really hard guitar driven songs like her older stuff, which was a bit disappointing to me but eh what can you do?
