There is a theory which states that if anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. I am a huge Hendrix fan probably the biggest you will meet. Hendrix loved Dylan's music so much that he covered BOB DYLAN'S All Aolng the Watch tower. I have read evry book ever writen about Hendrix and I know that Dylan did the original. Here is something for you to read...quote: | ||||

Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | Well I can't find proof otherwise, so I guess Ants and Spit are correct. I saw Richie Havens play a few years ago. His intro into a song was "I wrote this song a long time ago, and never recorded it. One day after a show, a young man aproached me and asked if he could use this song and record it. I felt honored and gave the rights. I don't know whether to be happy about the success of the song and of the young man or sad cause noone will ever know." Then he played "All Along the Watchtower". It gave me chills picturing the conversation between him and Dylan. I just can't find the proof of the story. I was hoping someone else would have heard the same. Oh well. Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | VH1 is doing a new show about cover tunes. It will be hosted by Paul Shafer (of Late Show fame). The bands will have to play any song that is picked and they will be judged on memory and shit like that. Looks like it may be a good show. "Now the seasons over, and I feel it gettin' cold.
