Clash was politically oriented and melodic, the pistols were more of a shock band, and they weren't that talented, especially Sid who really couldn't play the bass. | Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | you know, one of the last days of school this year a goth raver ((oxy moron i know)), weanie punk kid, and some other ppl got in the arguement when at my lunch table. i like both, but sex pistols has the angrier things in punk... the heart and soul that made punk what it was... as well as the controversy -- sid and nancy and all the rest. the clash has rock the casbah, the best song to piss my brother off when driving w/ him. hmmm. like i said, tough call -- but one thing you all have to agree on -- no band today could ever reach what these guys had in the past... god save the queen? god save us all ((Why does this sound like i'm on NyQuil?))
