| Psychopath Registered: Aug. 01  | i recently installed imesh, only to have it slow up my windows explorer, and now it takes like a good 10-20 seconds to load after i run the exe. i uninstalled imesh but the problem is still there. anyone know how to fix this by editing differnt files or something. it's not worth doing a reinstall over, or a reformatting, but it is kind of annoying. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Is it slowing down your computer as a whole, or just explorer? Either way, go to this site and download an app called AdAware. Its a spyware finder/cleaner. Spyware is used by a lot of internet companies to track where you go and what you do to find your interests so they can spam you to death in email. They usually install it in a popular app like Imesh and most users don't know its there. And sometimes removing the app leaves the spyware there, thus then slowing down your machine as it is constantly running. Give it a shot - its free, and it works.
