O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | For techies out there, When you initially boot windows, especially when you upgrade from a previous version, sometimes it will give you the option to boot to: Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Windows I accidentally installed another version of Microsoft Windows XP on my machine. Now it says: Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Windows XP Microsoft Windows I want to remove the c:\winnt and the occurence of the other two windows so that it only says: Microsoft Windows XP Anyone know how to do that? O&A Board Regular Registered: May. 00 | how did you get a dual boot of operating systems under xp?? isnt it a NTFS system?? I think you can remove earier versions of win9x in the "remove programs section" in the control panel. I removed win98 after upgrading to get extra space. - AIM:roweLENTless2001 | ||||
